A President who is clearly experiencing age-related decline and occasionally slurs and stutters, versus a President who embarrasses any intelligent adult with non-stop childish platitudes, fourth grade-level speaking patterns and cartoonishly hyperbolic self-aggrandizing. A stable but flawed career politician versus a dangerously unstable, damaged, malignant narcissist.
Well, I certainly have to admit, that's not a greatest choice in the history of choices. But I definitely prefer the former, and so does a majority of the country.
