No - just ask the banking industry. In 2009 when the rest of the country was reeling in economic pain - salary increases for the nations largest banks were the highest on record.
The financial sector had the largest growth rate - also in recorded history. In 2009 the markets had the best year since the inception of the NY stock exchange began.

THIS - is where the stimulus money went.

And today the jackels and the wolves are elated because their handyman just made veiled promises to give them more.

The astounding ignorance and stupidity of liberals who foolishly proclaim the stimulus was a great deed are like moths around a campfire.

Much of the stimulus was tax cuts so people could spend their own money, and much of it was tax increases so liberals could spend tax payers money. Its a perfect liberal contradiction.

In reality, all government induced stimulus does is distort the economy with a bubble that does more harm than good as the bubble bursts when the stimulus stops.

You know what happens whenever anyone delves a little deeper into the Obama "success" stories from the stimulus...either the company has since gone out of business (like that solar panel company that Obama used as a backdrop of one of his speeches last year on how well his stimulus was working) or each job created cost some crazy amount of money. You continue to shoot yourself in the foot each time you visit 'Think Progress' and get your liberal talking point for the day.

"Federal agents swooped in on Gibson Guitar Wednesday, raiding factories and offices in Memphis and Nashville, seizing several pallets of wood, electronic files and guitars. Peter Lowry, ebony and rosewood expert at the Missouri Botanical Garden, calls the Madagascar wood trade the “equivalent of Africa’s blood diamonds.” But with the new raid, the government seems to be questioning whether some wood sourced from India met every regulatory jot and tittle."

Well, maybe thats the wrong comparison, seeing as how BAC is bulldozing foreclosed houses and turning the titles over to the cities rather than maintain and attempt to sell them.
