The title of the thread is a lie and the thread should be closed on that premise.
Just over 58,000 Americans were killed during the Vietnam War.
Covid-19's still got a ways to go from the posted 47,684...
How do you know it's a lie?
Today is April 24th. The 26th isn't until Sunday. We don't know what the total will be by then but as of today that total is over 50 thousand. If the number of dead doesn't exceed Vietnam by Sunday I can guarantee it will within a few days.
Quibbling over the number of days is really stupid.
Does it matter if we exceed that total by Sunday or a few days later?
The point is that by then more people will have died in just 3 months than died in the 2 decades of the Vietnam war.
The point is that the dying isn't going to stop and if it continues at this rate it will exceed 100 thousand by mid summer.
Doesn't that bother you? Don't you think that listening to people who are experts on this is the better thing to do instead of what has been happening? Our president spent the first over 2 months saying it was a democratic hoax all out to get him and that it would magically disappear by April. And other very moronic and irresponsible things that have resulted in the total disaster we have now.
This didn't have to happen. The virus isn't trump's fault. His response or rather total blunder is his fault and responsibility.
