She wanted to be governor of the very state she just hurt?

With "leaders" like her, who needs enemies? It sounds as if her priorities are all about herself...

Major League Baseball (MLB) commissioner Robert Manfred decided to move the All-Star Game on his own after holding extensive discussions with voting rights groups associated with Lebron James, Stacey Abrams and Rev. Al Sharpton, sources familiar with the move tell Fox News.

Abrams and Sharpton told the commissioner players would boycott the game if not. Sources say that Abrams’ current stance, that she is disappointed about the Georgia boycott, is suspect as she was a key player in the decision. James has publicly supported the Georgia boycott.

Abrams’ group and Sharpton also urged the commissioner to support other issues, including voter drives and H.R. 1, the For the People Act — sweeping election reform that recently passed the House.

Manfred decided the easiest way to deal with the matter was to leave Georgia, according to a source.

After Manfred made the decision, he told the eight-member executive committee before making the announcement, which surprised the 22 other teams. Manfred said the decision was made after discussions with the MLB Players Association and its Players Alliance.

MLB just lost millions of fans.

It was a petty move. Worse, it was a vicious move. "We can change our direction and punish whomever we want, while rewarding someone else.

Anyone think the Brave fans are going to be giddy about supporting these harsh decisions and meddling in politicals of transparency?

And she still insists that she won that election.

White voters and all people of goodwill of whatever race, creed, or color of Georgia better wake the hell up or the entire state will turn into a mess just as Atlanta and Fulton County have under black DemonRat misrule.

And recall how close Florida came to having not a great Governor like DeSantis but a homosexual crackhead named Andrew Gillum as Governor with DeSantis winning by a mere 0.4%. People really are stupid, and American voters may be the stupidest.

Colorado is one of the whitest of states, while Georgia has a large black population and Atlanta itself is 51% black. :auiqs.jpg:

What Stacey Abrams did to Atlanta businesses with the MLB debacle is akin to what AOC did to New York City with Amazon.

Both Stacey Abrams and The Bug Eyed Bartender are liberal shitheads!

Well, AOC spoke rightfully of tax breaks and cronyism that Amazon should not be rewarded with at ths stage in their comapny growth. Stacy just wanted an event removed to punish politicians who dared to protect the sanctity of the vote.

MLB obviously isn't too bright to take the spotlight on this issue.

She’s glad it’s gone but unhappy it won’t be in her backyard
That’s retardation want it both ways

I don't understand the obsession with that morbidly fat shit beast. I know weak people need to cling to something they perceive to be superior to them, but in what universe is THAT blob of shit considered powerful?

In the old days the women of the village would have rolled that off the nearest cliff and had the men howling with laughter when they returned from hunting. Have we really made any progress in 2000 years?

“MLB commissioner decided to move All-Star Game after pressure from Stacey Abrams on voting issues”

And appropriately so.

Regardless why, moving the game was warranted given the fact that the voting measure was passed in bad faith in an effort to suppress votes and undermine the right to vote.

Requiring ID is not suppressing anything. It’s virtually a wholesale requirement in many activities of life.

MLB gets tax breaks in every home city they move to. We build them free stadiums to play their home games and rake in millions of dollars with overpriced tickets and concessions contracts to pay exponentially overpaid athletes, managers, coaches and commissioners. Screw MLB.

AOC is said to have killed 25,000 jobs in NYC.

So "we didn't get our way so we will make them take their ball and go home"?

How childish.

I'm watching more baseball than ever. I bought the MLB Season package. Watched parts of both Braves games today - they swept the doubleheader against the Nationals. Baseball is fine. Baseball will be fine. Whiny-ass Republicans can go cry in the corner, since they've boycotted Baseball, Football, Basketball, NASCAR. All they have left is F1 and Hockey.

MLB did the smart thing. If they hadn't, every player player would be asked whether they would be participating and a good number of the players would not play the game in Atlanta. That would just drag it out, with little controversies along the way. This protects the players from having to take individual stands. Very smart play by Manfred, who I'm not a fan of at all.
