Minneapolis Third Precinct police station set on fire after rioters break in

29 May 2020 ~~ By Dom Calicchio
The Third Precinct police station in Minneapolis was set ablaze Thursday night as violent protests continued in the city -- and other cities across the U.S. -- following Monday's death of George Floyd, a black man who died while in police custody.
More than 500 members of the National Guard were heading to the Twin Cities region, called in by Gov. Tim Walz, the Star Tribune of Minneapolis reported.
Rioters broke into the precinct around 10 p.m. local time, after police on the rooftop previously tried to disperse a gathering crowd using "flash bang" shots and tear gas, according to reports.
The rioters entered the building and sparked the fire after police officers on the roof were rescued by helicopter, reports said.

Comment:
The people burning property and looting are just as guilty as the police officers. Peaceful protests are a justifiable form of your First Amendment rights,. Rioting, looting and burning down the town or city is NOT a Right.
It's one thing to protest even when armed and no people or property disturbed. The people rioting causing destruction to people and property as in St. Paul should receive the justice that looters in all countries deserve. Shooting!! Where are the police? Now they don't have a precinct to go to.
I understand that the Progressive Socialist Mayor of St. Paul made a public statement claiming the cops murdered George Floyd and he thanked the protestors for their rioting and destroying the city last night. What a piece of work.
I hope no one was injured or killed in this latest rioting and destruction.
As of 29 May 2020 the St. Paul Chief of Police has issued this Announcement to the Citizens:
Due to rioting the new Police precinct has been moved 10 miles away. Our new response time to crime will be the following. Please note these will be best time responses depending on how quickly we can get the Chief out from under his desk. Presently due to the high call volume of the rioting expect new waiting times to be days
1 hour for armed intruder
2 hours for Home invasion
3 hours for a random shooting
4 hours for gang street violence
THANK YOU
In the meantime it's KMACYOYO

SO sad to see. And the WORST thing about this, or it SHOULD be the worst thing in the eyes of liberal lunatics, is that these savages were NOT practicing correct social distancing. Pathetic AND pitiful beyond words.

Yup. If you dare open your business against the will of a fascist governor, you get fined or go to jail.

But if you are rioting you can burn businesses down at will and not even get a ticket.

The kind citizens of a certain persuasion who are smashing open cash registers and razing their local businesses have no hope, not ever, of liberating themselves from whatever oppression they believe they suffer, or of being liberated by anyone else now or any number of years down the road. Why, you might ask, is this the case? Why is and ever shall be their "plight" completely hopeless? A couple of reasons, really.

First up, poor inner city blacks have subscribed for generations to a political party (the democratic party) who with one tongue promises to liberate them, take care of them, protect their rights and advance their vital causes, while with another tongue eternally damns them to bombed out city public housing and rotting urban neighborhoods where every block is not unlike a fucking warzone 24/7. In other words, the party blacks depend on to be their voice is in fact and in reality their slave master.

Secondly, for generations large numbers of inner city blacks have been taught, both by their own elders and their public school educators; the media and popular culture, that certain savage behaviors are acceptable—even life saving—when in fact, and provably so, said behaviors only keep them down, impoverished, crime ridden, and chained to decaying inner city societies. Many young blacks are taught that all white folk are responsible for their economic nightmare, for enslaving their ancestors, for keeping them from attaining any level of success. This alone is justification enough for many young black men to deal drugs, run with gangs, commit to a life of petty crime and in many cases, murder each other and white folk they believe are inherently evil.

Third, a bonus point, if on the other hand a majority of young black men born into urban poverty were taught that anyone can achieve anything in America with enough hard work, then the chains of immiseration, hatred, thuggery, and failure on grand scales nationwide would come off and stay off. But, in truth, the democratic party is fueled by perpetual, eternal victims . . . and no people make better forever victims for them than poor inner city blacks.

So in a nutshell these folks can loot, pillage, rape, annihilate until fucking doomsday, and it won't gain them an inch of asphalt or broken sidewalk. What the hell, right? At least they were all kind enough, in the videos I've seen, to wear their wittle masks as they destroyed their own homes and neighborhoods. Got to count for something when whistling past the graveyard toward extinction.

Thanks for another fine post. VERY nicely worded.

Riots and looting seems to always happen where Democrats are in political control yet somehow they always seem to get away with blaming someone else for their racism and oppression.

See my post at: Can Minneapolis sue the media outlets for insighting and justifying violence?
Many of my points was released to pastors and community leaders in St Louis, then later Baltimore and could have prevented those former riots if it was shared and expressed.
It could prevent many protests/riots but it is not shared logic not even points addressed in MSM , because It would ruin the media's need for unrest to shape their narrative for political tactical strategies.

Funny how the lefties here aren’t talking about how these rioters...I mean “protesters”, are endangering the lives of everyone around them being in public, most without masks.

I guess it’s okay to endanger everyone else’s life by spreading Wuhan virus when it’s serving a greater cause....race riots.

Another Democrat run shit hole turning into Detroit.

I wondered about that. And why Amy Klobuchar didn’t prosecute the policeman in question, already legendary for excessive force, when she was the city’s prosecutor.
Because she’s racist. That can be the only reason by the way, even if the evidence in that case proved the shooting was fully justifiable.

Freedom. Its a never ending struggle, and its not always pretty. Its a delicate balancing act. An act that can be just as anxiety inducing a a high wire act with no net. But the results are worth the efforts.

"When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."

First of all, this argument about mob being unarmed is not true, everyone with saliva is a possible armed assailant.
Which brings us to the need for trial and full story not jump to conclusions as to why an officer kneels on a neck and not an upper back to restrain a dangerous perp. A video tells part of a story but if it comes out that the perp threatened to give the officer the virus then the outcry is liken to stating why did the officer kneel on the gun hand holding the weapon that was being threatened to kill the officers. Changes the whole perspective and the whole view on behavior or action by the officer as being an error in judgement (brought on by pandemic fears) for sake of self preservation rather then an agressive uncalled for act of negligent homicide.
So details matter and can only come out in a trial as per how our system works innocent before proven guilty, not as the mob and news stated guilty without a trial.
