Minneapolis PD To Business Owners: Reinforcements Aren’t On The Way

19 Sep 2020 ~~ By Jazz Shaw
Just because you’re not seeing as many headline stories about the chaos in downtown Minneapolis these days doesn’t mean that conditions on the ground have returned to normal. While the size of the riots and demonstrations may have abated a bit, residents and business owners there are still dealing with a “new normal” that’s anything but normal. Crime is up across the board, including both property crime and violent crimes against persons. Many residents have already described the situation as being akin to “living in a war zone.” This is particularly true of the city’s 3rd Precinct, where robberies and assaults continue to plague the people who live and work there. The owner of Pedego Electric Bikes sent an email to the local Police Chief saying that his employees are too frightened to come to work now. The answer he received was none too reassuring. In fact, it made it sound like the shop owners are pretty much on their own. (CBS Minneapolis)
There’s no long-term plan, and reinforcements aren’t coming anytime soon.
That’s what the head of the Minneapolis Police Department’s 3rd Precinct said in an email to a business owner who shared that his employees are scared to go to work.
The neighborhood block of shops near East 48th Street and Chicago Avenue has felt the impact of recent crime. Craig Paulson owns Pedego Electric Bikes.
“Couple robberies. Two, three robberies in the area, and some break-ins and a couple of crazy stunts,” Paulson said.
This is the response that Craig Paulson received from Inspector Sean McGinty
~[snip]~
Keeping the burnt-out police station closed down and not being replaced is a “victory” in the minds of these people. And that’s being announced at the same time that residents and business owners are begging for help because it’s not safe to even go to work or leave their homes. And in the midst of all this mayhem, the City Council actually had the nerve to ask the police chief why there is so much crime.
I’ll close with one prediction that applies to most major cities these days. When the cops are unavailable to come to the aid of citizens, those citizens – particularly business owners – will increasingly take matters in their own hands. That’s why new, first-time firearms purchases are breaking records all over the country. And sooner or later, the rioters robbing stores, workers and random pedestrians are going to realize that their lives were a lot more secure when the cops were around.

Comment:

Like the other Blue Plantation Sanctuary Cities Portland, Chicago, New York and Baltimore, Minneapolis is another failed and lawless city. The options are limited, either leave or arm yourself in defense of your family and your life.
Options become more limited when those you helped be elected tell you that if you kill looters/rioters in/at your business or your home- if you have a family, you might as well make the next shot to your own head because otherwise your and their lives will basically be ruined and over anyway.
Unless you are part of the political elite, or rich enough to live in gated communites surrounded by police your taxpayer money goes to pay for them, you're S.O.L.
Then there's those business owners that voted for the people now in charge. I guarantee that the electric bike business owner did. He's getting all he voted for and cant believe the outcome of his utopian pie in the sky jackass ideas. Reap what ye have sown, Maybe they'll be think about replacing their leadership? But they wont.

Yes, it is truly sad that the city council members are so catastrophically stupid. The innocent civilians are the ones who suffer while the mob moves on to destroy its next victim.

Unless you are part of the political elite, or rich enough to live in gated communites surrounded by police your taxpayer money goes to pay for them, you're S.O.L.

Even then, maybe still not enough.

Remember the lawyer couple that lived in that fabulous mansion in the gated community that had the mob bust in, threaten them, that they had to come out with guns to protect their property-- -- -- then got bashed by the media and LEO for "gun violations" and "needless threats to human life."

No I didn't forget them.... They're just part of those that have awakened to the disaster they've created.

I think the only answer at this point is to go ahead and let Somalia legally annex Minneapolis-St Paul.

Its effectively done. May as well formalize it.

What in the Hell were the people in Minnesota thinking?

The local gov't in Minneapolis and Minnesota has basically said that the right to pillage and burn in the name of George Floyd is greater than your right to public safety and security that every city charter requires. Peaceful protesters do not burn, damage, loot, and destroy public and private property, what's going on around the country in the big cities is sure as hell not peaceful protests when it escalates into violence and destruction and even death.

Sounds bad, saying "Just because you’re not seeing as many headline stories about the chaos in downtown Minneapolis these days doesn’t mean that conditions on the ground have returned to normal."
Does this mean you are saying there are riots there, but not reported nationally? Heck, they are are not even reported locally on any outlet, as I checked Minneapolis News 4, Minneapolis Fox 9, Kare 11, and their biggest newspaper, including it's police blotter on The Star Tribune. No riots, no protests, no new arrests. Did learn somebody threw cheesecake on a van at someones home (no damage) and that 4 more sick deer have been reported in the woods. Sounds pretty quiet up there.

One thing that I do know is that the police has more authority than the politicians. Without them they don't have any power. Police officers knows that they can arrest anyone who they please and get away with it. And they do not have to listen to anyone else. They calls the shot who they feel that need to be arrested.
But these officers that they are claiming to be helpless are full of it. They are playing a damsel in distress. They all work as a team. And if the politicians don't like it, that they just ignore them. Because who can replace them if they don't listen to them?
But these officers are up to something. They are apart of these Global cabal.
They has been infiltrating over the years, corrupt officers that will only listen to the cabal. They only do their biddings.
Don't give away your power to only one source. That one an only source could be setting you all up.

The only way Minneapolis or and other liberal city will ever return to sanity is if Trump is reelected. With a second term he will crush the rioters in spite of the Democrat politicians who currently protect them. No business or citizen wants to live in the chaotic and dangerous conditions that exist in Portland, Seattle or NYC. Most civilized people appreciate police and the order they provide society. MAGA, Viva Trump.

Those cities mentioned in the OP are simply harbingers of ALL American cities in the coming decades.

And just think: Some people actually claim that this nation has a bright future.

Amazing!

At the sunset of civilization and the beginning of the dark ages Emperor Honorarious addressed the people of Britian. He said " you must look to yourselves for your own defense." Rome was leaving the British to the warlords.

This has the same kind of feel. The people of Minneapolis are being abandoned and we are facing a new dark ages.

The problem with that is the local authorities try to put you in prison if you do. And even if you beat the charges, they bankrupt you and destroy you in the process of trying to imprison you.

It's demoralizing even if you prevail, and it is being done on purpose. Because downtrodden and demoralized people are easier to control.
