The more I read, the more problems are uncovered. Despite being Renewable, Clean, Green, and Free there are huge recalls of millions of Solar Panels.

If one is too listen to those promoting Solar Energy you would here them repeat the mantra that Solar Panels last forever, once built. But the fact is that Solar Panels are failing an unprecedented rate.

1.5 Million Solar-Panel Systems Recalled Over Corrosion Problem - NBC News

1.5 Million Solar-Panel Systems Recalled Over Corrosion Problem
SolarWorld is recalling approximately 1.3 million solar panel systems in the U.S. and 210,000 in Canada because of a possible electric shock, electrocution or fire hazard. The company said Thursday that panels installed with bare-copper grounding lugs can corrode, possibly resulting in a faulty ground circuit. The lugs are brown in color. SolarWorld said it has received one report of corrosion related to the bare copper lugs. No injuries have been reported.

So, on the basis of one reported failure, and their analysis of that failure, they have recalled 1.5 million panels. They did not even wait for a body count, as has the auto industry repeatedly. Kudos for SolarWorld!

You don't drive Solar Panels, idiot, comparing solar panels to cars?

Which, of course, makes the auto industries lack of concern about the known defects all the more deplorable. Many have to die before they do a recall of millions. In this case, one case of corroded terminals, they decided that it would be a problem, and set about fixing that problem. That is the way a business should operate.

The Auto Industry is not an Energy company, is it Old Crock.
