Million mile+ batteries answer to vehicle pollution?

The new Tesla batteries will exceed a million mile life by a lot. And, as the new terafactories start production, they will go head to head with ICE vehicles on price, while exceeding them in all other areas. This will eliminate most of our transportation pollution;

How are the batteries being charged, the tooth fairy? Apparently you absolutely no idea of how to put the energy riddle together. Something your useless liberal arts degree did not prepare you for. Start whit the battery in the car and work your way back to where the energy originated. Here's a tip, in most cases it's fossil fuel just like the shit standard cars run on only with far fewer steps involved to waste energy in needless and wasteful conversion processes.

I heard a Con Ed rep speaking on the Radio show 'AutoLab,' pointing out that there isn't enough electricity being generated in the nation to fulfill the Liberal desire for electric cars.

Seems silly since no car Tesla produces will ever see 2 million miles

Does that take into account 90% fewer passenger vehicles on the roads? ...

Why, with an ever increasing population, would there be fewer vehicles?

The plan is to eventually force everyone to take public transportation.

And with a view of American's love affair with their private vehicle....what brain trust came up with that?

Democrats?

The Green New Deal, my friend ... say bye-bye to your Toyota, "don't make a fuss, just get on the bus" ... 90% less meat consumption, you'll get rationing coupons, learn to enjoy tofu ... grounding 90% of the commercial airlines fleet, there's pictures on the internet, you won't have to travel there to visit ...

With all the tax hikes in store ... you won't be able to afford this crap anyway ...

The answer to pollution is not battery-powered electrical vehicles, but hydrogen-powered vehicles, either via combustion or fuel cell.

True ... but electricity is readily available in our homes ... not sure how expensive building a hydrogen delivery system would be ... hydrogen is fairly easy to make out of water if we have enough electricity, use existing gas stations for production ... just vent the oxygen pollution into the atmosphere ... [giggle] ...

What about engine design? ... can we covert existing auto engines to burn hydrogen? ... or will we need new engines? ...

Sheesh. LOL I guess you have not left the 1970's. The majority of electrical generation being built today is renewables. And it is much cheaper than the fossil fuel alternatives, Far, far cheaper than nuclear. And with grid scale energy storage, it is 24/7.

LOL........combined, solar and wind amount to about 8% of our electricity. Rates of growth dont matter at all when they are compared to something else. Its always where the arguments of the climate crusaders get train wrecked.

Somebody with a severe ED condition can take a pill and take bows about the 25% increase in his boner. No woman will be impressed though.

When you see climate crusaders presenting with undefined words like "growth"....."rise"...."increase"......"higher"...."majority"....."cheaper"................your radar should come up. Because when they are defined and compared to something else, its patently unimpressive.

So, you expect everyone to have an EV next month? Really stupid people that cannot seem to realize that the renewables are very quick to build. Unlike nuke plants, they do not take years to build. And they are scalable, plus the VPP's can make any homeowner with solar a part of the generation solution. Not only that, a homeowner can install solar and batteries, and supply not only his home with power, but also fuel his EV. Luddites are so silly.

Dude, you need to be building power plants NOW.

They ain't

DURRRRR

Democrats?
You mean that Democrats that are repairing the road infrastructure against the opposition of the Cult of Trump, formerly the GOP? You mean the Democrats that are encouraging the installations of fast charging infrastructure on our roads, in spite of the opposition of a bunch of luddites still kissing the orange ass of a seditious former President? LOL

Now dumb fuck, they sure are.

"Across the US, there is expected to be 15.5 GW of new solar, 11 GW of new wind and 4.2 GW of batteries added in 2022. Clean energy targets set by states and individual companies are driving the energy transition due to lack of a federal regulation.Dec 28, 2021"

Where are they repairing it?

Remember yiur hero, the obummer? He gave away almost a billion dollars for infrastructure work, less than 20 percent was spent on it.

DURRRRR

Big whoop. That won't come close to providing the neccessary requirements.
