With all the years of continual manipulation by external agents and from corruption within, our once great nation of the United States is crumbling at our feet as we step out into the unknown of the ever changing future. It had come to my realization that the federal powers had over run our lands and that the powers which belonged to the people resident had been stripped away from them. With bans on firearms and body armor, warrant-less searches and bulk data collection, corporate greed and corruption of our political system, and perpetuation of wars for over a decade for example, we the people of this earth need to leave this desperate fasad of what used to be freedom, and given our choice, not have to make a new country but reconstruct our own. I have realized more and more that the united states constitution needs many patches but it is a fine piece of work as our main utility in freedom, rights, liberty, and justice.

I have taken the time to regenerate the spirit that initialized possibly the greatest constitution ever created and amend it properly for future proofing and to spell everything out for whatever political leader will be bound to uphold it by oath later. Within these revisions, I have added several protections not previously provided and done my best to ensure that whatever nation in the future may use a variation of my work will be the best place possible.

Given the forums will not allow me to post such a lengthy piece of work, I have provided links for the content in this post. Please go over the information and leave your comments below, including if you know any better way to talk or collaborate regarding the greenway project.

I hope anybody interested in improving the US constitution or interested in starting a new country will comment in this thread, as well as any critics with helpful suggestions. The focus is on constitutional constituency and not federal codes derived; Creation of a new nation V.S. retro-fitting a present one. Any related questions, comments, or concerns are welcome; being slightly off-topic is fine, for example, discussions about the federal reserve being a privately owned bank, or also, policy in an interstellar civilization.

As far as where such a nation might go, a complex of artificial platforms that are filled in with artificial islands in the ocean might be a place to start, but the main goal is outer-space and astral body colonization; There are many international laws and charters that cover concepts in this arena, if you know them and are arguing for, against, or mentioning, please state the specific work and component you are referencing, to help with myself and others who may not know or be confused.

I find most of the problems today are due to a split between political beliefs in
* limited govt where the point is to invest in local development and representation
and reduce the burden and bureaucracy on the federal govt to manage everything centrally
* widespread govt where everyone participates and has programs managed by govt
as a way to make this uniformly accessible to all people

Neither side is checking or fulfilling their approach properly because
they waste too much time or resources fighting or blocking each other
instead of focusing on their own programs and approach.

so if these programs were delegated and divided by party,
most of the political conflicts and problems could be shifted OUT of govt
and managed directly by people organized democratically according
to THEIR chosen philosophy or political belief

A. the first step would be to recognize, separate and organize people
and programs according to their partisan beliefs and agree to keep these conflicts out of govt
B. any conflicts should be managed by mediation and professional "conflict resolution" to reach a
consensus or to agree to separate programs and terms if agreement cannot be reached
C. Then if people/parties agree to A and B, we could discuss anything to do
with Constitutional laws, revisions or govt reforms WITHOUT getting tangled in disputes due to A and B
that otherwise obstruct the democratic process

If we can agree on A, B and C, then this would REDUCE conflicts and allows just the MINIMUM change
needed to revise or clarify Constitutional laws and process to accommodate different partisan beliefs.

A. again start with an agreement to recognize, respect and support equal representation and protection of political beliefs; people have the right to exercise that, and should not be forced to change or defend their views from imposition, but by the same token should also agree not to impose their beliefs through govt on others.
There should be a MUTUAL agreement based on the Golden Rule of Reciprocity that
anyone who invokes protection of their beliefs must also respect the same defense of others.
And agree to mediate in cases of disputes involving "faith based beliefs" (whether religious or political)
so that all views are protected equally OR ELSE PEOPLE AGREE NOT TO CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH EACH OTHER IF THEY HAVE CONFLICTING BELIEFS.

1. This may or may not require "Written" clarifications to the First and Fourteenth Amendments and other amendments, but would require a mutually agreed understanding about equal protection of the laws, not discriminating on the basis of "creed" by political coercion exclusion or bullying to push an opposing belief.

2. It could lead to writing clarification in the discrimination laws that people should be allowed to discriminate/deny association with others to the same degree they are willing to be discriminated against or denied/rejected due to these beliefs.

EX: for the conflicts over providing services to same sex couples requiring businesses to photograph or attend same sex weddings against the belief of individual owners or workers; this could be solved by written agreements that
1. people/groups that discriminate against each other for their beliefs cannot see lawsuits or penalties against the other group for discrimination if they equally discriminate against the other group for their beliefs
2. people who cannot resolve their conflicts in beliefs agree not to conduct business together; businesses that have a risk of conflict should have potential or new customers sign a mediation disclaimer agreeing to mediate any conflicts for free, and if disputes cannot be resolved regarding conflicting beliefs, both sides agree to refrain from business relations to avoid legal complications, actions or expenses. The problem should be blamed on the MUTUAL inabilty to resolve conflicts in faith-based beliefs and should NOT be blamed on the beliefs of either side.

B. set up tracks for separating programs by state or by party that are better managed locally than federally

C. revise positions and depts in federal govt to manage this shift, such as
1. separating External and Internal Presidential positions as military/foreign policy vs. domestic issues/policies.
separating External and Internal Vice Presidential positions where NEITHER is in line of succession to the President so there is no conflict with that office, but the focus is on streamlining the domestic programs and issues on a national level, where some programs remain federal or shift to states (External VP) while other programs deemed to involve political beliefs should be shifted back to people or parties (Internal VP).
2. Expanding the Justice Dept to focus on conflict resolution and mediation services to states and people, especially on policy conflicts involving political beliefs that cannot be resolved by forced majority rule.
I would call this the Department of Peace and Justice, and including Restorative Justice alternatives that taxpayers could choose to fund instead of punitive systems that keep mentally or criminally ill people on drugs.
By mediating agreements on Restitution as part of the sentencing, the compensation alone for illegal drug and human slavery trafficking could finance converting prisons into medical facilities for educaton, training and services in public health. So this should be regular function under Peace and Justice to collect damages and debts owed to public taxpayers, and reinvest tax dollars into programs that solve those problems.

Some of the reasons I think the constitution needs reworking/ammending is for clarification and also to ensure that our processes within a republic are true to the representation they encompass. An example are the changes to the greenway constitution over the US constitution;

Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States; If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. Another difference is that the people have to vote to keep a war ongoing, quite different than the decade long war in the middle east the US has been fighting with backing by the UN.

State services that provide foodstamps for example are discretionary and only apply to those with little or no income (Less income than $16,000 a year in 2015 USD for example).

However, there are a limited set of socialist programs that may be for the eternal benefit off all people, primary examples being the social security board, free education, and free healthcare. Beside that, socialism fails, worse, it can devalue the dollar and impact the economy severely in such a way that we have seen in Venezuela with the bolivar.
