He should have blamed Obama, Holder and Clinton. They ae the one responsible for Gunrunner/Fast and Furious. The along with the BATFE were responsible for the illegal salea of firearms along the border.

Casinos gettin' raided in Mexico after drug cartel arson...
Mexican Army, Federal Agents Raid Casino After Deadly Arson Attack
August 27, 2011 | Hundreds of soldiers and federal agents are raiding casinos in this northern city, authorities said Saturday, two days after an arson attack on a gambling house killed 52 people and stunned a country that had become numb to massacres and beheadings.
Security forces had so far confiscated about 1,500 slot machines at 11 casinos in Monterrey and its surroundings and arrested three people, Mexico's tax agency said. It said the continuing operation was meant to verify whether casinos had paid taxes or introduced slot machines illegally. Thursday's arson attack by gunmen was a macabre milestone in a conflict that the government says has claimed more than 35,000 lives since President Felipe Calderon launched an offensive against drug cartels in late 2006. Others put the death toll near 40,000.

The torching of the Casino Royale has raised questions over Mexico's regulatory controls for fast-spreading gambling houses. Authorities have not been able to reach the owners of two companies pointed out as titleholders of the casino. Jorge Domene, security spokesman for Nuevo Leon state, said an order to appear before state police has been issued for owners of the two companies, CYMSA Corp. and Vallarta Attractions and Emotions.

Casino Royale's legal representative, Juan Gomez, told reporters that the shareholders of the business were Jorge Alberto and Raul Rocha Cantu. They will meet with police when authorities set the time, Gomez said. Their family members have been prohibited from leaving the city, he said without offering details. During the raids, which began Friday, about 700 soldiers, federal police and Treasury Department agents seized slot machines and put them in moving trucks.

Authorities did not say the raids were related to the arson. But one of the casinos searched was also registered under Vallarta Attractions and Emotions, according to the gaming unit of Mexico's Interior Department. Information of the other locations was not immediately available. Federal police deployed 1,500 offiers and sent Black Hawk helicopters to the state to step up security in this industrial metropolis of more than 4 million people. The Mexican army said it was sending in 1,500 soldiers. Mayor Fernando Larrazabal said the Casino Royale and other 12 casinos violated municipal laws and were allowed to remain open after obtaining federal court injunctions.

I'm really starting to sweat this shit. Now I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaay north of your southern border, but still the sheer inactivity by the government, state and fed are really starting to get our nerves twitching.

Whats up with the "all hells breaking loose but we arent doing jack shit" US government on this?

Not that I'm giving this bastard a pass but didn't Clinton give him an opening blaming the US as the gun runners?

<Excerpted from that site>

The carnage has hurt support for Calderon's conservative National Action Party (PAN), which already faces an uphill battle to retain the presidency in elections next July.

How powerful would the drug cartels be if drugs were not a black market item?

How many guns would they buy if they couldn't sell drugs?

Mexicos problems surrounding the drug cartels START with US laws.

Calderon is right.

Insatiable US consumer market for drugs-against-the law that is driving everything.

Mexico has enjoyed their narco dollars. It's a large segment of their economy.
The drug gands are doing just like the gangs and organized crime syndicates, it's a shake up, and i am sure there are anti-government movements, it occured in southern Mexico(Yucatan Peninsula) with the Indians in revolt. And I am surethere are gngs that kill just to kill after dey gets high.

Well Obama and Holder did arm the Drug Cartels down there. That's just fact. I'm actually shocked Holder is still Attorney General. What's going on with our Country?

This is all, absolutely true. Although I would also point out that Mexico must take responsibility for its own people, and that the Mexican government turning a blind eye to corruption and the narcotics trade for years allowed this situation to develop, there is no denying that the drug sales in, and weapons shipped from the U.S. is fueling the cartels.

THIS is what people or "leaders" do if they can't control there life or nations. Calderon is getting his ass kicked by the thugs and is now whining and blaming the US. I'd say that is failer in Calderon leadership of his nation.:eusa_whistle::eusa_whistle:

What you murkins fail to see is the long term plan to disarm you. That's a normal thing though.
OMG OMG Britney has a sex tape !!!!!!!!!! WhEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Idiots.

Obama and Holder did arm Mexican Drug Cartels with their horrifying 'Fast & Furious' Gun sting. So Calderon has a valid point. Holder should have already been removed as Attorney General.

True, but you could go back 2-3 years and find the drug gangs slaughtering people and ruling over large parts of northern Mexico. They have armored "tank" like transport and some of the military is working for them. I some how doubt a few guns given by holder strengthen the drug thugs much against Calderon. Calderon would be still be losing northern Mexico one way or the other. IMO of course.

Should holder step down, hell yes.
