The problem in Texas is their conservative run electric grid. How’s that profit for the few above the needs of the people working out for you?

You seem to forget the EPA send directives to what they can and can not do.... ITs time we told the feds to go fuck themselves and do what we need to as independent states. The 14 states that have the Keystone XL pipeline need to compact together and tell Biden to go fuck himself and build it.

The Keystone XL line only benefits Canada and the Koch Industries. And about 27 long term jobs to maintain it. But since it's going to be maintained by Koch Industries, make that 5 long term jobs and lots and lots of leaks and Federal Fines. Don't drink the water.

It doesn't matter. Oil Sands from Western Canada is NOT being shipped to the ports of Texas by rail. Considering the Oil Sands oil is about 29 bucks a barrel and the US doesn't want to buy it then why would you ship such dirty oil that hard to process for anything other than plastics and such so far? At some point, the cost per barrel is run up into mid 30s and 40s and it just hit the cost of heavy crude which is easier and cheaper to refine for plastics and such. And the US has Heavy Crude just laying around.

With that in mind, why would we need to even bring up shipping Crappy Oil Sands all the way from western Canada to Texas on rails? In fact, why would we even want a pipeline that is dedicated in shipping it all that way to Southern Texas when the only thing you can do with it is ship it out of the US. And even with the pipeline finished, the cost per barrel will be approaching the cost of the heavy crude as it is. Wouldn't it make more sense for the BNSF to ship the Oil Sands oil by rail the short distance to the Canadian Pacific Ports after they Expand the ports? Of course, that would cut out the political influence that the Koch Industries is using in the United States with their bought and paid for Politicians. Well, luckily, not all are accepting the bribes for that source.

I live right next to what was once a major Railroad Yard. Most of us are very well aware of what the Railroad is, and does around here since many of our families have people working for it. And since D&RGW was taken over by the UP, we also know that it's all gone down the pooper. But that is for another time.

You still haven't justified the XL Pipeline yet. You have yet to address why the Canadian Government wishes to ship their oil for thousands of miles instead of under 100 to their own ports where they get to keep ALL the profits, if any. I know why and I know who profits from what. But I keep going back to the old "Follow the Money". Try that and see where it leads. Then just another piece of the puzzle falls into place.

How many examples do the green freaks need to get it that we are not there yet?....we still need oil....coal...natural gas...fracking drilling and pipelines....wake up....

Neither solar nor wind will ever be adequate especially since our energy needs are growing by multiple gigawatts annually. Nuclear can provide a bridge between here and there but even nuclear will not be able to keep up the pace.

Ultimately we will need fusion power. It's a difficult feat to accomplish but we are well on our way once... it is here nothing else will ever be needed.
