Mesa County in Colorado is different than the rest of Colorado. It's the only deep Red or Republican part of the state. DeadMeat's Corner is not going to get into politics. It suffices to say that Mesa County is different in many ways.

One of the many ways (which is important here) is that the rest of Colorado will reach the 70% plus for vaccination while Mesa County will remain at about 40%. The majority of the population of Mesa County has refused to be vaccinated for Covid. And while the rest of the State is opening up, Mesa County is trying to open up but never paid the dues so the covid is higher per capita.

Anyone with half a brain can see that Mesa County will just get worse, not better. Privately owned Restaurants have all gotten completely away from the Covid Procedures. Even the reduced procedures put out by the state. And it's not just those locally owned Restaurants, it's almost all privately owned service businesses including retail. Something as simple as, if you have an employee that has not received the covid vaccinations, have them wear a mask. And keep the 6 foot spacing. That means that any privately owned business that serves the public may be a Covid 19 Delta Spreader.
