Memphis Mother Charged After 6-Year-Old Brings Loaded, Stolen Gun to School and Shows It to Classmates

Another thing to be glad about is the fact that no one at the school was ever shot.

God bless you and the child and everyone at the school always!!!

Might not be her fault, but it should have been hidden away in a safe preferably. .

Could have been another tragedy. Glad it wasn’t.

Time to really start coming after these irresponsible parents.

here we go again. not the brightest tool in the shelf;. glad she is in jail.
I agree with all charges against the mother, but wonder why she is not facing "Receiving Stolen Merchandise" as well.

And, no, not the brightest tool on the shelf or she wouldn't have gotten knocked up at the age of 16 or less.

She shouldn't have had a stolen gun in her possession in the first place.

Weird. All the MAGAts were screeching that it wouldn't be applied to non white parents when the GA shooter's father got charged.

Still amazes me how much things have changed from when I was in school just like 35 years ago.

In highschool sometimes 4 or 5 of us brought guns to school and kept them in the trunks of our cars. After school we would go over to a huge field that was the uncle of a friend of mine and we would target shoot. We didn't broadcast it but surely people knew.

But then again once or twice a month the diesel mechanics class guy would grill out behind the shop and one person had to find beer each time. Shop teacher turned a blind eye as long as he got 2 fully loaded burgers.

All we had was the normal, occasional fist fight in our school that was hashed out and dealt with. And everything was fine.

^^^ As long as the weapons stayed in the trunk and were not brought into the school buildings, I guess that there was nothing much to get worked up over back in those days, but that right there is what makes now so different compared to those earlier days. Back then, people had a better understanding concerning where certain lines were drawn. The sad thing is that if those lines have not faded away or have been moved, people do not care one way or another. They are going to do whatever they want regardless.

God bless you always!!!
