020 Medicare changes: Key takeaways

So you can plan.

I pay less next year than I paid this year.

Yes more tests cost more money. Tests tend to reduce the possibility of doctors being sued.
We have been told for many years that Medicare is going broke. A portion of that same was used to bailout ACA. So that means it has even less time.
But for some reason we are still taking Medicare and Social Security out of every working persons check.

Do you want doctors treating you without diagnostic tests? :)

Lol you are a kick penny. If someone tells you the sky is blue you will complain that it is not red enough.

Well I know CMS considers this a closed donut hole but I don't consider one paying 25% of their drugs once you reach it as being closed.

Happens all the time. Some ailments don't need expensive tests. It's really up to the doctor to determine his/her own liability. There are too many 'ambulance chaser' lawyers IMO.

Yes it does happen all the time. Example: You feel bad, doc says you got the Flu. No tests required. OR, you slice yourself cutting your morning bagel. Doc stitches you up...no test required.

One better hope its just the flu. They listen to your lungs and listen to you gut, they take signs and symptoms. Those are diagnostic tests. They may order labs or give one a chest Xray, to be sure.

If one goes to the urgent care, one doesn't thing they only have the flu.

The sliced finger cutting a bagel, have you don't that?? Sounds like you had the experience.

It's been rising ever since Johnson signed it into law.
It's why it's going broke.

It's why it's going broke.

Cost of living was way cheaper in 1965.
