If McCain doesn't show at the debate then he should concede the debate on the grounds that his Republican buddies (Bush & Gramm) have screwed up the economy beyond belief and he doesn't have a clue on how to fix it.

He should concede because if he goes through with the debate it will be the worst slaughter in debating history and he knows it.

He desparately wants Obama to meet with him and make a joint statement, so that he can get on board with whatever the Democrats plans are for the economy, but it won't work.

Bipartisanship based on DESPARATION.

He knows that GWB's speech tonight is just going to make it worse for him. He's going to have to endorse the Bush plan or come up with another - and he doesn't have one.

He really ought to just concede the election!

This is just another distraction, McCain is using various tactics to keep from having to debate. Notice when he talks he reads from a script and Palin is even dumber. 'Dumb and Dumber' should lose big except for one thing which I cannot mention because the children on the board cannot understand complexity or even life.

America for Dummies: A vote for McCain/Palin is a vote to further marginalize science and progress in America by supporting creationism (religion) as science.

Concede? That would be pretty silly, no?

My concern about Bush's speech tonight is that it's going to be like the whole red alert thing every time Kerry's poll numbers went up... go try to scare the hoi polloi... "be afraid...be very afraid... only we can help you... "
