As long as taxes are being paid, I don't see that happening. The only real thing here is that she is a relative. She is not the first politician's whose campaign backhands cash to relatives, friends, and even employees. It is not unheard of for a member's Legislative Director to take a leave of absence from his job to work for the campaign where he has no salary cap, get paid a ton of money on the side, then come back to work as Legislative Director. Some campaigns put the spouse on as an employee who then doesn't get paid for the stuff they do when their spouse wins.
