White House STILL resists Biden transition as chief of staff Mark Meadows tells President's office they need permission to speak to Joe's administration
  • White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows instructed Trump's team in a memo not to 'speak directly' with members of the new administration
  • He said only those given 'specific authorization' can do so
  • This is another sign that President Donald Trump is resisting the transition despite the GSA authorizing it on Monday
Mark Meadows has instructed White House staff not to speak with Joe Biden's team, in another sign President Donald Trump's team is still not completely complying with the transition despite authorizing it Monday.

'Unless specifically authorized,' the White House chief of staff said in a late Monday evening memo seen by Bloomberg that those on Trump's team 'are not permitted to speak directly with a member of the Biden transition team or the federal transition coordinator.'

Meadows, however, did say in the memo that the White House would 'comply with all actions needed to ensure the smooth transfer of power.'

He said that the Trump administration's work is not yet finished.

They have covid so it is probably a good thing on the whole.

And clearly nobody in trump's orbit can teach anyone in Biden's orbit a thing about running the government; the last 4 years have proven that.

It is probably a blessing in disguise.

At first I believed out right, but now I'm not so sure if Trump actually had Covid anymore.

I suspect it may have been a publicity stunt for sympathy votes pre-election.

Meadows is WH Chief of Staff. That means he's in charge of every employee in the WH. IOW, he's the boss.

Meadows needs to carry his unethical ass back home to North Carolina if they will have him. Amazing how far you can go with an Associates degree, no ethics and the willingness to support anybody in power.

Meadows has covid though....and is doing nothing but infecting people day in and day out.
Better for the Biden crew to avoid the White House until the blob oozes out with all of his fellow losers.

No silly, your brain is supposed to be wired to instantly compute that Meadows being one of the heads of the oversight committees & in charge of investigating the Biden incidences of Treason means if he's telling them not to talk to Biden it's because they have enough on him as a national security threat, which would be why they don't share the classified briefings with him also.
How quickly you forgot the very first shared briefing he got as a newly determined Dem candidate he had already violated and leaked the info that almost caused a war with Russia or at least hightened tensions. That was just the first 1, it's not like his mind is functioning to keep a secret, he even blurted out that he had the best damn voter fraud setup & staff in place.*L*

So they are being treated the same way they acted going out four years ago. And you’re confused by that.

.
Given the endless lies that came out of the trump White House during the past four years, the Biden team should not believe anything they hear from anyone associated with that corrupt organization.

It will take longer for the Biden administration to get up to speed, but there is no reason to permit the trump crime family to slow that process with more lies.

Maybe he should accuse them of colluding with the Russians and spy on them. That would be a “peaceful transition”.

‘Mark Meadows tells WH staff NOT to "speak directly" w/Biden's people’

Childish, partisan, obstructionist – further contempt for the will of the majority of the states and the will of the majority of the people.

Speak to Chicomcrats and by the time they get done what will be claimed you said will have nothing to do with the truth.

"Biden's people" which feature turds like Hussaine, Crooked Hillary, Sleepy Joe, etc., have been attacking our democracy since President Trump declared he was running for President years ago. "Biden's people" are all Deep State, treasonous, neocon, warmongering, Europhobic criminals who hate America. Only sado-masochist TDS folks would support "Biden's people."

Sound like what Clinton's people did when Bush took over.

Of course Clinton and Hitlery stole stuff right out of the WH. Won't see Trump's people doing that.
