Former Overstock.com CEO Patrick Byrne asked the following questions on his Telegram channel:

Maricopa County purposefully deleted a directory full of election databases related to the past 2020 election cycle --10 days before the election equipment was delivered to the @arizonaaudit. This is destruction of evidence and at least, contempt.
Why did security seals arrive cut and why were they placed at the bottom of the boxes? Why were security ballot bags not used by the County?
Is this the Counties customary practice for storing ballots?
AZ Attorney General Mark Brnovich needs to get involved immediately. What is Maricopa County hiding?
We need answers! @arizonaaudit
The AZ Senate letter demanded ...

We have recently discovered that the entire "Database" directory from the D drive of the machine "EMSPrimary" has been deleted. This removes election related details that appear to have been covered by the subpoena. In addition, the main database for the Election Management System (EMS) Software, "Results Tally and Reporting," is not located anywhere on the EMSPrimary machine, even though all of the EMS Clients reference that machine as the location of the database. This suggests that the main database for all election-related data for the November 2020 General Election has been removed. Can you please advise as to why these folders were deleted, and whether there are any backups that may contain the deleted folders?

This sure makes the Maricopa County, AZ Board of Elections look guilty doesn’t it?

Wow, sounds bad.

Good stuff. I'm enjoying the fight, and seeing the raw news without interpretation by the media as posted by the OP is fantastic.

I subscribe to the Maricopa County Weekly Digest Bulletin from Jack Sellers which provides opportunity to hear their side. Maricopa County's Audit doesn't disappoint....

If I had to guess Sellers will decline the Senate's request, at least I would by telling them to get back to me when they finish their audit.

I am hopeful that we can constructively resolve these issues and questions without recourse to additional subpoenas or other compulsory process. To that end, I invite you and any other officers or employees of Maricopa County (to include officials in the Elections Department) who possess knowledge or information concerning the matters set forth above to a meeting at the Arizona State Capitol on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Hearing Room 109. Chairman Petersen, former Secretary Bennett and I will attend the meeting, which will be live-streamed to the public.

Ultimately, as I've warned over and over again over the years (and as we are now seeing play out), it doesn't matter if an election is 100% accurate and secure if the public can't know that it is. Secret software and concealed vote counting inside computers run by private companies --- even when done perfectly and securely --- allows those operating in bad faith (as is the case with Republicans right now), to claim an election was stolen, even when there is no proof to support such an extraordinary charge. It's nearly impossible to refute such claims, bogus or otherwise.

The physical ballots are right there. As they find nothing they will confuse your small brains with distracting peripheral information. Be prepared for a release of names that match dead people names or some shit that won’t be vetted and will be a sound byte for a few days until it is utterly proven that their are multiple John Smiths and they cited the wrong one.

The nutty Republicans are always jumping to conclusions. See how they use words like “suggests” in the letter? That doesn’t filter down in the hysterical reposts.

Please provide an actual source for this bullshit.

Maricopa County is NOT turning over the routers to ANYONE. They are litigating the request.

obstruction of justice
some people need to be put on trial
the fate of our nation is at stake

Are you saying you do not support the blue when they refuse to hand over the routers?
Me? No. I'm saying 100% hand marked, hand counted, paper ballots as always. Zero tolerance for "intellectual property" election interference. Same as still ceding control of our healthcare to private insurance cartels. Makes zero sense.. unless one is getting a piece of the action or special treatment of some other kind. What can't be accomplished in reasonable time with 100% hand marked, hand counted, paper ballots should never be attempted. A range of reasonableness exists for every public concern. Using 100% unverifiable voting machines does not fit within. Never has. Never will.

Destroying evidence that was under subpoena. That's a crime. I said they'd do this 5 months ago. But why would the demtrash be willing to so obviously break the law and risk being arrested or indicted? What could possibly be worth taking such a huge risk? What could possibly be so important to HIDE?

CHEATING? Yep. They're guilty as sin. I know it, they know it, the nation knows it, the entire damn WORLD knows it.
