Manson Family and Clinton Supporters

I saw a documentary on the Manson family murders the other night. What struck me were the parallels between Charles Manson's followers (his "family") and Clinton supporters...here's a list

1. Manson's followers have elevated him to a godlike status, even giving him powers that he does not have. (Clinton supporters have done almost the same thing, crediting Clinton for the 1990s economy, claimining he was tough on terrorism)

2. Manson's followers will defend everything that Charles Manson does, no matter how heinous (Clinton supporters will defend him for committing perjury, lying to the American public, Whitewater and a host of other wrongs)

3. Manson's followers blame society in general for his fate (i.e. the fact that he's in prison) and ignore the fact that they are really the consequences of his actions (Clinton supporters like to blame conservatives and that gosh darn "right wing conspiracy")

P.S. Wouldn't it be a gas if in a few years a rock band named "Marilyn Clinton" came along? The lead singer could dress up as an ex-president and the rest of the band members can dress up like interns!

Convicted mass killer Manson hospitalized outside prison: reports
Tue Jan 3, 2017 | Convicted mass murderer Charles Manson was taken from a California prison, where he is serving a life term, to a hospital for an undisclosed medical issue on Tuesday, news media reported.

Manson, 82, was seriously ill, a source told the Los Angeles Times, but could not provide further information. TMZ reported that Manson was transported to a hospital in Bakersfield, California, about an hour from California State Prison in Corcoran, where he was being held. A California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation spokesman declined to comment to Reuters, citing inmate medical privacy issues.

In the 1960s, Manson, a charismatic ex-convict, assembled a group of runaways and outcasts known as the "Manson Family." In the summer of 1969, he directed his mostly young, female followers to murder seven people in what prosecutors said was part of a plan to incite a race war. Members of the cult stabbed heavily pregnant Hollywood actress Sharon Tate 16 times in the early-morning hours of Aug. 9, 1969. Manson's followers stabbed or shot to death four other people at Tate's home.

The following night, Manson's group entered the nearby home of grocery store chain owner Leno LaBianca and his wife, Rosemary, stabbed the couple to death and used their blood to write "Rise," "Death to Pigs," and "Healter Skelter," a misplaced reference to the Beatles song "Helter Skelter," on the walls and refrigerator door. Manson was originally sentenced to death but was spared execution and his sentence converted to life in prison after the California Supreme Court declared the death penalty unconstitutional in that state.
