Mahatma Ghandi was not Christian. Although he appreciated the bible. Never the less he was able to bring down the world's biggest most feared empire, to its knees, by simply fasting. A non violent protest. This squares well with how Christianity too achieves victory. Even the Blessed Virgin Mary used this method. And this kind of victory is permanent, because the mighty strong oppressor doesn't get a chance to ask for a rematch. Your take?

He would never have made it in the USA. The CIA and FBI would have had him murdered early on.

Hmmm Wikipedia? Mahatma Ghandi's civil disobedience and non violent protest movement is in every school history text book and several movies were made of it too. His weapon was fasting even to his death, as a leader of the peaceful civil disobedience movement.

The blessed virgin Mary the same way, was constantly bullied by mighty bullies from when she was dropped off to live at the temple at age 3 by her aging parents, especially after she was 8 when her mother died. The blessed virgin Mary too shut down all her bullies by non-violently opposing them. Try to tell this strategy to any kid in school today after teaching him the usual stuff that Jesus doesn't exist ... .

Ghandi was a serious student of the Sermon on the Mount and nonviolent resistance to oppression.... as in shame the enemy.

Christ talks through Mahatma Ghandi. Don't people know the voice of the master?
