Wrexham curry house is named the best in Wales at glittering ceremony
A WREXHAM curry restaurant has been named the best in Wales at a glittering ceremony attended by Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.
More than 700 guests attended the Asian hospitality sector’s most prestigious event, the Asian Curry Awards in Association with Just Eat, at the Grosvenor House in London’s Mayfair.
Maahis in Ruabon was named the Asian Restaurant of the Year in Wales at what are the UK's only national awards which honour all Asian cuisines.
What a massive honour. I havent been there for at least 25 years but have heard some great reports of late. I think Mrs T might be going there on Friday night to pick up our Tea. Great to see local lads do well.
