1.It certainly reduces your burden when you simply allow others to do your thinking and decision making for you.

During the 19th century, progressivism was born in academia, which posited that there is a sort of individual of a higher level, who would guide the great unwashed.
This is the idea of the ā€˜administrative state.ā€™

" ... thereā€™s a tendency among bureaucrats, politicians, academics, and other members of the New Class to convince the people to hand over the major decisions of their lives to the ā€œexperts.ā€ These experts arenā€™t all in the government, but they all collude with government to convince people that the experts have all the answers and that the people need to hand the reins over to them. They will tell us what to eat, what to drive, what to think.
Itā€™s an approach that puts politics before economics. Because it is an attempt to politicize peoplesā€™ lives.ā€

You buyinā€™ that?

2. Tocqueville warned of it: government- ā€œworks willingly for their happiness, but it wishes to be the only agent and the sole arbiter of that happiness. It provides for their security, foresees and supplies their needs, guides them in their principal affairs, directs their industry, regulates their testaments, divides their inheritances.ā€ It is entirely proper to ask, as he asked, whether it can ā€œrelieve them entirely of the trouble of thinking and of the effort associated with living.ā€

Today, more than ever, it is important to recognize the mistake that folks make in awarding an undeserved objectivity, trustworthiness and/or knowledge in some realm totally distinct from that one in which someone gained celebrity status.
Nowhere is this more evident that that awarded to politicians, economists, bureaucrats, and weathermen. But awarding same to those nominally known as ā€˜scientistsā€™ is surely a close second. I must admit that I take a great enjoyment watching you non-thinkers, you camp-followers of the Left, waft into a stammering red mist when it is revealed that you follow every order produced by your masters.

Do they at least throw you a fish for compliance????

According to Smith, ā€œVery few of these papers are retracted.ā€ Thus, articles with falsified data make up a large part of the research literature, and it can be difficult for a reader to know whether to trust a study, even if itā€™s published in a respected journal.

I stopped believing in funded research a long time ago. When much of the results of the research turned up to be wrong or a disaster, it goes without saying that those who benefit financially from research funding, won't disappoint their masters with a result they don't want to have.

It is one of the obvious goals of the left from the mid-1960s that they needed to gain control of academia so that they could then control the flow of information. Haven't you ever noticed that whenever common sense pushes back against a progressive policy not a week, or a month at the outside, a sudden new research study is published to show how the left was right all along?

Take the covid issue. First, it was two weeks to flatten the curve. Then suddenly, the flu disappeared and people who were dying of the usual causes all suddently became covid deaths. To this day, no one knows the exact number of people who died from nothing but covid. They smirk when asked and tell you that the data is too skewed to untangle it and we should just go with those numbers for now. They then switched from reporting deaths to just "Cases" and made no mention of the number of people who recovered from these 'cases'. Then, when the numbers began to subside, a new and unexpected 'varient' of the strain appeared, just when things were looking like we had this defeated.

Where did this 'varient' come from? Well, its a mutation they tell us. Strange thing, that information comes from research done by, you guessed it, the left wing control of academia.

It goes on and on. The only research that can ever be trusted is discovery of information that happened when the researcher was looking at solving a wholly separte issue.

This is what we have as spokesperson for 'science.'

"In a Wednesday email to supporters, Emmer blasted Fauci as a power-hungry ā€œmedical tyrantā€ and criticized his messaging throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

ā€œFauci has lied to the American people for too long. He needs to resign,ā€ he said. ā€œWe are now almost two years into his ā€˜2 weeks to stop the spread.ā€™ His constant flip-flopping has resulted in shutdowns and a crippled economy. He has devolved into a medical tyrant who will do anything to secure liberal power in government.ā€

ā€œInstead of maintaining a consistent plan, he will bend to whatever direction the radical liberal agenda demands. COVID shouldnā€™t be political, but Fauci and the Dems found a way to use it for their own selfish agendas,ā€ he said."

Even when the "medical advice" veers 180Ā°, the sheep will suddenly turn on a dime to show how they worship the Left.

Far too many of those we call 'scientists' are nothing more than Democrats collecting their paycheck through a madrassa....er, university.

As we have seen throughout this scamdemic, they will say whatever advances the party.

"Scholarly journal retracts 60 articles, smashes ā€˜peer review ringā€™

Every now and then a scholarly journal retracts an article because of errors or outright fraud. In academic circles, and sometimes beyond, each retraction is a big deal.

Now comes word of a journal retracting 60 articles at once.

The reason for the mass retraction is mind-blowing: A ā€œpeer review and citation ringā€ was apparently rigging the review process to get articles published.

Youā€™ve heard of prostitution rings, gambling rings and extortion rings. Now thereā€™s a ā€œpeer review ring.ā€

All manuscripts are reviewed initially by one of the Editors and only those papers that meet the scientific and editorial standards of the journal, and fit within the aims and scope of the journal, will be sent for peer review. Generally, reviews from two independent referees are required.

An announcement from SAGE published July 8 explained what happened, albeit somewhat opaquely.

In 2013, the editor of JVC, Ali H. Nayfeh, became aware of people using ā€œfabricated identitiesā€ to manipulate an online system called SAGE Track by which scholars review the work of other scholars prior to publication.

Attention focused on a researcher named Peter Chen of the National Pingtung University of Education (NPUE) in Taiwan and ā€œpossibly other authors at this institution.ā€

After a 14-month investigation, JVC determined the ring involved ā€œaliasesā€ and fake e-mail addresses of reviewers ā€” up to 130 of them ā€” in an apparently successful effort to get friendly reviews of submissions and as many articles published as possible by Chen and his friends. ā€œOn at least one occasion, the author Peter Chen reviewed his own paper under one of the aliases he created,ā€ according to the SAGE announcement.

The statement does not explain how something like this happens."

"How Much Scientific Research Is Actually Fraudulent?

It may be more than you think.

My subsequent article, "Most Scientific Findings Are False or Useless," which reported the conclusions of Arizona State University's School for the Future of Innovation in Society researcher Daniel Sarewitz's distressing essay, "Saving Science," also did not consider the possibility of extensive scientific dishonesty as an explanation for the massive proliferation of false positives. In his famous 2005 article, "Why Most Published Research Findings Are False," Stanford University biostatistician John Ioannidis cited conflicts of interest as one factor driving the generation of false positives but also did not suggest that actual research fraud was a big problem.

How bad is the false-positive problem in scientific research? As I earlier reported, a 2015 editorial in The Lancet observed that "much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue." A 2015 British Academy of Medical Sciences report suggested that the false discovery rate in some areas of biomedicine could be as high as 69 percent. In an email exchange with me, Ioannidis estimated that the nonreplication rates in biomedical observational and preclinical studies could be as high as 90 percent."

The best explanation is that 'scientists' are not any different from any other human beings....and the fear of the Cancel Culture, of not being promoted, of being fired or marginalized for actual proof, runs counter to the insanity produced by the Democrats/Progressives....

Everyone must endorse that there are 56 genders, men get pregnant or menstruate, that sex is a social construct......or find a new line of work.

This what the Left has done to a once noble endeavor.

Vaxxer Regime Has a Real Problem Denying Natural Immunity

"EVERY bit of scientific data out there indicates that natural immunity is far superior to the Covid-19 ā€œvaccinesā€ at protecting people against the coronavirus. It isnā€™t even close with studies ranging from seven-times to over fifty-times in favor of our God-given natural immunity developed after contracting Covid-19. It has been acknowledged (somewhat) by the CDC, reported on (somewhat) by leftist mainstream media outlets, and vehemently declared by a slew of truthful news outlets, including this one on multiple occasions."

Big Tech, including Facebook, however, is actively manipulating the spread of information by censoring and silencing whatever it deems to be ā€œmisinformationā€

FactCheck.orgā€™s SciCheck COVID-19/Vaccination Project, which targets vaccine ā€œmisinformation,ā€ was made possible by a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which was founded by the late Robert Wood Johnson II ā€” Johnson & Johnsonā€™s president from 1932 to 1963

"Studies Confirm Pfizer Vaccine Immunity Wanes At 2 Months

A study from Israel covering 4,800 healthcare workers showed antibody levels waned rapidly after two doses of Pfizerā€™s COVID vaccine. Meanwhile, Pfizer today officially asked the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to authorize its vaccine for children 5 to 11 years old.

Two studies published Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine confirm any immune protection offered by two doses of Pfizerā€™s COVID vaccine drops off after roughly two months ā€” ...

A prospective longitudinal study from Israel covering 4,800 healthcare workers showed antibody levels waned rapidly after two doses of vaccine ā€œespecially among men, among persons 65 years of age or older and among persons with immunosuppression.ā€

Antibodies were tested during the baseline period defined as four to 17 days after receipt of a second vaccine dose, and every four weeks thereafter over a six-month period."

"The Hippocratic Oath And Medical Ethics Versus COVID Mandates

These people who deign to be our rulers and betters have lost their way. They have completely decoupled themselves from constitutional government and the sound medical ethic to ā€œdo no harm.ā€

... the COVID vaccine mandate is not good medicine. Dr. Robert Malone has been credited with inventing the mRNA ā€œvaccine.ā€ He has been quoted in radio, television, and print media (too widely to list here) saying that a drive to vaccinate the general population is the wrong approach.

Well, that is curious, isnā€™t it? One would think the inventor of the ā€œvaccineā€ would advocate for its widest possible distribution and use, just as the government is doing. However, Dr. Malone has said repeatedly that widely ā€œvaccinatingā€ the general public will provide an infectious virus, living in many millions of ā€œvaccinatedā€ hosts, more opportunity to mutate and develop into a ā€œvaccineā€ resistant strain.

This concept is already common knowledge because the flu shot is perennially prescribed for those at the highest risk of a life-threatening illness from the latest strain of the influenza virus.

Do not comply, resist in every manner possible. Our resistance will force our political opposition to further reveal their hateful, and America-hating policies. That might be what it takes to make more of our fellow citizens wake up (!) and convince them of the actual destruction being wrought upon all of us."
