I have no intention of putting the hospitalizaton of the New Mexico Senator as anything but an issue for the direction the actions of the Senate will take.
But it would be a mistake to miss the angst this has caused in some circles.

"... mathematics makes the lawmaker's absence a significant complication for his party. A leave by Luján, 49, results in Democrats having 49 votes -- 47 Dems and two independents who caucus with them -- versus 50 Republicans.

"Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer doesn't have a working majority without Luján," according to a Punchbowl News analysis. "So Schumer will have to steer an even more careful path than he has for the 50-50 Senate – if that's even possible. He will only push forward on nominations or bills with clear bipartisan support.

Sen. Ben Ray Luján, D-N.M., is expected to make a full recovery after surgery to relieve pressure on his brain following a stroke.

But an uncertain timetable for his Senate return has Democrats effectively ceding the majority to Republicans on a temporary basis. That could mean further setbacks for a Biden administration agenda already stymied by Dems' razon-thin majority and opposition to key legislation by players in his own party."

I'd like to make clear that the import of the post is the effect on the Democrat agenda, and have no wish for ill for this Senator.

I hope is comfortable, well cosseted, ......and at home.

I understand. But I, on the other hand, DO wish ill will on every leftwing POS.
Democrats are the party of Socialism, Sodomy (gay marriage), Infanticide (late term abortion), not allowing Conservative free speech on Youtube and elsewhere, Antifa and BLM Marxist thugs and bullies burning cities, defunding police, Fascist lockdown, voter fraud, and more. Democrats are the enemy of Liberty. I hope they all suffer a painful death.

After all the babies he helped murder I hope he burns in hell for all eternity

"Joe Biden’s nominee for United States district judge for the Central District of California refused to answer when asked Tuesday whether or not she believes racial discrimination is wrong.

Kenly Kiya Kato, who has been criticised for espousing far left viewpoints, was grilled by Senator Ted Cruz at a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, and didn’t do herself any further favours during her appearance.

Cruz asked Kato “Is racial discrimination wrong?” to which the judge replied “Senator, our Constitution prohibits race discrimination. Discrimination on the basis of race.”

President Joe Biden's promise to nominate a Black woman to the Supreme Court seat being vacated by Justice Stephen Breyer is being pilloried by the right. But it's a refreshing departure from...

"Unlike the House, the Senate does not permit proxy voting. If Lujan’s absence from the upper chamber is extended, it may delay or otherwise affect the confirmation process for President Joe Biden’s nominee to replace Justice Stephen Breyer on the Supreme Court."

Best news I've heard all day. Biden and Piglosi have officially become lame ducks for the remainder of 2022 and after that, maybe non-existent. Yeehaw!

"Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has said the Senate will move “quickly” to confirm Biden’s nominee and “make history,” as the nominee, if confirmed, will be the first black woman on the Supreme Court."

Oooops!

But let's not get ahead of ourselves.....there is Graham....

Give him another COVID jab, that should finish the bastard off.

The democrats will push for it--they already have a useless vegetable in the WH, one more in the senate will be easy to handle--his aide will just push his button for him--kind of like democrats voting for dead people.

Here's the course of treatment post stroke:
