It does not matter that everything he said was correct.

It does not matter that the Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff both admitted to horrifically failing at their jobs contributing to the horrific withdrawal disaster.

It does not matter that these men / leaders threw Biden under the bus and made it clear the Afghanistan withdrawal disaster was Biden's clusterfuck.

It does not matter that he is right, those responsible should be held responsible / accountable.....and that although deserving to be relieved of command / fired, neither Austin or Gen Milleh has been punished and will not.

Military members are held to the UCMJ, and Scheller, admittedly, violated the UCMJ. For discipline sake the military can not allow him to NOT be punished. He was right, someone needs to be punished, but he forgot those responsible always passes the buck and always punishes the innocent for demanding those responsible be held accountable.
