In the early 2000s I did about 500 of privacy fencing around back yard, with all sections having precise curved tops. Found program online that let me input the rise above chord at sagitta (center point), length of chord, and length of measurement along chord . The program printed heights of all points above chord along arc at the desired intervals. This let me plot points on a 1x10, connect the dot, cut out the arc for a template to use on all fence sections. Now doing a few more sections inside originals fencing, would like the exact same precise curvatures on top. Cannot find program online. Found formulas, but no way, I am going to work it 200 plus times. I also used this same program working with finished stair carpenters to make templates for framing and bending rail jigs for construction of some really awesome curved stair systems in upper end homes.
Looking for a program or method to program into Excel. Anybody got a direction to point me? Thinking of go Lowes buy 1/2" PVC pipe fixing one end, bending to an ellipses of desired height and saying hell with it, but I have a precise anal nature on my building projects. Anybody know what I need, other than a more lenient attitude on standards?

Thanks for the binary. In the 70s I programmed numeri-control punch tapes for automated turret press. Between early 80s and early 90s did 3 or 4 languages from Basic to Db3 to Enable, including a TI calcuator program to project personnel losses in critical MOS for a mid-intensity conflict. Never wrote anything in a binary based language for machine code or data processing. The CPVC pipe idea worked out great!
