Libertarian Terrorists?

Yes government included. Unfortunately anything can go bad. Hell I myself have had some ideas I am not so proud of, especially at 230 in the morning. Lol of course the only terror created was in my own eyes when I woke up beside them. Well maybe some of them were as upset with my presence.

As long as you acknowledge that reality, I'm content. It's why it's so important to get your own people elected and to maintain your own platforms versus relying on two sides of the same coin to make all of the arguments on the floor. It does not take a Majority. And that's where the fight lies. They know it. We know it. Somebody's gotta put up a fight. They can't run roughshod over the electorate the way they're trying. Not us anyway. Not without a fight.

Anyway. I've been on here too long today. I get thoroughly disgusted on here anymore so I'm gonna find something else to do. Enjoy your evening.

Life is a constant battle to do right not just with government but even with your self. Recognition of this is the first step of remaining on the right side. Lose sight of that even a good person can go bad. I am single after 29 years of marriage. It is tempting to head the the bar or club for company. This I resist as I know back in the day that is where a good percentage of my bad decisions were made. Even at my age and experience level mistakes can be made. Unfortunately for as long as we breath there is the possibility of bad choices. One must constantly question not only our government, our philosophy but also ourselves.

Apparently you don't understand libertarianism. And apparently you missed this:

"The idea that libertarianism creates terrorists is absurd. Libertarians support the non-aggression principle, so they reject using force to advance their political goals. They rely instead on peaceful persuasion."
...until the other party abandon's peace and resorts to violence, rioting, and other illegitimate practices. Then, all bets are OFF!!!

I don't disagree. I'm a proponent of personal responsibility. It's fundamental to proper human relations and subsequently a proper government-to-man relationship. But I also know that if you give em an inch, they'll take a mile.

FYI, the grocery store is where all the action's at.

Looks like Brennan and company are specifically targeting libertarian minded people now in the establishment's effort to label any opposing view of policy a terrorist act...

The Department of Homeland Security issued on Wednesday a nationwide terror alert lasting until April 30. The alert warns of potential terrorist attacks from Americans who are “ideologically motivated” and have “objections to the exercise of government authority and the presidential transition, as well as other perceived grievances fueled by false narratives.”

The language used in this alert suggests that millions of Americans are potential terrorists. Second Amendment supporting, antiwar, anti-tax, anti-politics, anti-militarization, pro-life, and anti-Federal Reserve activists certainly have “objections to the exercise of government authority.” They are certainly viewed by the political class and its handmaidens in big tech and the mainstream media as ideological extremists. Anyone who gets his news from sources other than mainstream media or big tech, or who uses certain “unapproved” social media platforms, is considered to have had his grievances “fueled by false narratives.” For something to be considered a false narrative, it need only contradict the “official” narrative.

The "domestic terrorist” alert is the latest sign that activities on January 6 on Capitol Hill, like the attacks of September 11, 2001, are being used to advance a long-standing anti-liberty agenda. Legislation expanding the federal government’s authority to use its surveillance and other unconstitutional powers against “domestic terrorists” is likely to soon be considered by Congress. Just as the PATRIOT Act was written years before 2001, this legislation was written long before January 6. The bill’s proponents are simply taking advantage of the hysteria following the so-called insurrection to push the bill onto the congressional agenda.

Former CIA Director John Brennan recently singled out libertarians as among the people the government should go after.
This is not the first time libertarians have been smeared. In 2009, a federally-funded fusion center identified people who supported my presidential campaign, my Campaign for Liberty, or certain Libertarian and Constitution parties candidates as potentially violent extremists.

The idea that libertarianism creates terrorists is absurd. Libertarians support the non-aggression principle, so they reject using force to advance their political goals. They rely instead on peaceful persuasion.

Libertarianism is being attacked because it does not support just reforming a few government policies. Instead, it presents a formidable intellectual challenge to the entire welfare-warfare state.

The ultimate goal of those pushing for a crackdown on “domestic terrorism” is to make people unwilling to even consider “radical” ideas — to make people so afraid of certain ideas that they refuse to even give those ideas a fair hearing.

Progressives who are tempted to support what is being promoted as a crackdown on right-wing violence should consider the history of government harassment of progressive movements and leaders such as Martin Luther King, Jr. What do they think a future right-wing authoritarian would do if given power to go after “ideological extremists”?

All Americans who cherish the Bill of Rights should come together to stop this latest crackdown on liberty. My Campaign for Liberty will be mobilizing Americans to stop passage of any domestic terrorism legislation, while my Institute for Peace and Prosperity and my Liberty Report will provide Americas with the most up-to-date information about the continuing attempts to smear those who speak the truth about government lies.

The government DIDN'T name Libertarians. Ron Paul did.
I agree we need to watch out for another move to extend the government's snooping powers. They've obviously got enough.

Agreed that the government is large enough, too authoritarian as it is imo. Increased surveillance is what former CIA director John Brennan is spewing about and has done so with a specific message of listing "outcasts to target".

"Former CIA Director John Brennan recently singled out libertarians as among the people the government should go after. This is not the first time libertarians have been smeared. Reportedly, former CIA Director John Brennan said on January 20, 2021:
"Brennan was back on MSNBC, contending that American intelligence agencies "are moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about" the pro-Trump "insurgency" that harbors "religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians."

Brennan is most likely a criminal with a questionable history. He travels around the left media circuit with his authoritarian call for more surveillance and censorship. Media shows that host this crook know his stances yet have him on to rile up the leftist and liberal viewers. The fact these media outlets continue to have him on speaks volumes as well.

I knew all along because the libertarians that were once the anarchist are now the Trumpets.

Not exactly.
Oh sure that's the ticket. It's either that or they have to be called communist or Nazis.

It's not about victimhood CC Jones, it's about the obvious efforts to enhance central control over the masses, even if that means stepping on states rights it would seem. Any attempt at taking down a free market to destroy our economy towards socialism is counter-productive to individualism and completely against taking personal responsibility for our own actions and for our own lives. This is something that I find mostly from the words of leftists- who tend to blame rich people for being wealthy and think they should have some of that money because they don't want to work two jobs or do what it takes to get out of a bad situation. It's not the libertarians who don't take responsibility, it's leftists (not liberals) who blame the world for their problems listening and reading their own rhetoric.

Why does it matter if the narratives are false or not? It wouldn't from a police standpoint . Who cares if the terrorism is based upon factual beefs or not? This is clearly political.

Most "terrorist: attacks on the government--are done by crazy libs being crazy or libertarians sending a political message.
Conservative personalities are that--conservative and tend to not want to break the laws
Libertarians are often pot smokers and users of other drugs---so breaking the laws is not taboo to them.
McVeigh left leaning was a libertarian--

I say this as a conservative leaning libertarian---------

Relevant viewing....(emphasis to relevance previously boldened....ahem)

Former US Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) has been sounding the alarm over new "domestic terrorism" legislation introduced by Adam Schiff (D-CA) and highly charged claims by former CIA director (a partisan Democrat) that "even libertarians" are potential "domestic terrorists." A police state is coming unless people like Brennan and Schiff are denounced by President Biden himself. Also, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) sounds the alarm: are National Guard troops in DC the next "forever war"?

One little group at a time....

First they came for the Jews------
Then they came for the communists---
They they came for the trade unions---
And then they came for me.

Oh ridiculous---libertarians don't like totalarian governments, and since left leaning ones tend to do drugs thusly break laws they just quicker to break more laws to fight back and not consider the consequences.

This is an evil power grabbing administration that means to crush and destroy all political enemies and supporters--------as they seize more power and money. They fear rebellion knowing that the people did not put them in and the people do not support their abuse of power..they build fences, abuse political offices to destroy all that oppose, they made themselves above the law, they try to disarm the population from fighting back, and they are purging the government and military of all who do not support dear leader pedophile and bribe taking Biden and his communist supporters. It's Dark Times-----

The fringe of any political philosophy can become radical, not one is immune to it. I would not take it personally.

But what is defined as fringe is somewhat subjective. An oppressive government often defines such very broadly.
Well its like porn. You know it when you see it. You start arguing and threatening family and friends you are likely fringe. You think conspiracy from top down to janitor needed to pull off , you are likely fringe.
