You are a fool. The costs of solar and wind have plummeted over the last decade, while the cost of oil and gas have continued to climb. The UN report is spot on, renewables are now competitive with fossil fuels. Both have preferential tax treatments, subsidies, and government handouts. The real difference is the externalization of costs that the oil and gas industry have became so adept at. But I am quite sure you have no idea what "externalization of costs" even means.
