Spending, Deficits and Taxes

Presidential candidate George W. Bush promised to be a fiscal conservative, and not destroy the surplus that had been created during the 1990s. But as the record shows, he has overseen the worst budget deterioration in modern American history – and misled the country about who will receive his tax cuts.

BET YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS OBAMA. :eusa_whistle:

I agree. I promise I will not vote for George W Bush again.

Well, they better be, Jillian, because they will have the House by probably a majority of 20, and they may well tie in the Senate (if California and West Virginia fall to the Pubs). I opposed the work stoppage under Newt in that it would backfire. If Boehner and McConnell (1) try to go back to the old policies and (2) keep saying 'no' to BHO, and if they economy does not pick up solidly, the voters in 2012 may well throw everybody out.

Ideas, maybe; actions, hopefully.

Bush's problems were specifically his lack of actual conservative policies.

Conservatism is difficult to impliment in corrupt societies.

Why does everyone assume they have to vote for a Republican or a Democrat?

Lets not forget his not being for the USA being the police force of the world and not into nation building.

The voters will throw everyone out. That train started and the first stop is today.

Adios Harry Reid and Barney Frank today.

I think Reid needs to go away, but the replacement may well suck worse than Reid.

It's fine with me if Reid goes. He's a wimp. Chuck Schumer from NY will be our new Senate Majority Leader.

I <3 NY

I figure in a year or less Nevada will regret their decision.

15th post
Barney Frank in trouble as well, going to be close. Another arrogant liberal in trouble.

Frank is not in trouble, Nevada will regret Angle, and Obama and the House are going to have to work together.

This is going to be fun.

I am so looking forward to the next couple years.

No, I'm not kidding.
