That is the point the article is making, they aren't anymore protected than they were before, in fact, the policy has allowed pimps to act in the open.

That the law fails to provide the protection they deserve is the fault of the authorities. Can't imagine why that is in Nevada. Perhaps you blame the prostitutes, who are now protected from the law at least, so that is an improvement.

Money was being sent back to feed starving mothers and fathers in Romania. The Johns came in, on "good" nights, sometimes 15 to 20 if you were lucky. But then something happened: the market became glutted with whores. Brothels opened next to brothels. The smallest towns had their bordellos. The number of Johns per woman dwindled, and the hookers themselves began to get desperate.

People never learn. A good rule to follow is that if it is endorsed by the tard, it is bad for the People/nation.

Now, sure, there are real problems with sex work, like exploitation of immigrants and minor, drug abuse, spread of disease... but a lot of that could be cleaned up if you made it legal, regulated it and taxed it, instead of pretending it doesn't exist.
