People who want to use parks for their inteded purpose like sitting in the park reading a book or watching children play or even taking a breather from walking the dog have run right into the homeless pitching tents in the park. The filth, drugs and violence cannot coexist with taxpayer needs. Remove the benches. A tent can go into that space.

Handicapped people and the elderly are not going out in a pandemic. Not the ones who are planning on living at least.

This fake “pandemic” took hold a few months after I broke my leg. I was very much handicapped during much of the early part of it.

And yes, the #CoronaHoax2020 measures did have a serious impact on my comfort and well-being, around the difficulty finding any seating anywhere, not that the criminals responsible for promoting and exploiting this hoax, nor the worthless cowardly, stupid sheep such as yourself who fell for it, give a shit about the real impact that all this bullshit has had on real people just trying to live our lives around the assorted very real challenges that we have to face.

Nobody "stayed in hiding" during the pandemic, nor were they "frightened" by it. You're projecting your own fear onto others. That's the conservative reaction. Then they deny it's happening, because that way they can avoid having to do anything about it.

When I broke my foot, I wasn't going shopping down at the mall. Or complaining about a lack of seating. You could get one of those walkers with the built in seat so you can sit anywhere, or carry a folding seat as a cane - they sell those too. Mandated 6-foot distancing and mask-wearing is not enough for Marxist liberals who want to control every aspect of your life. No, now they are mandating American citizens can not SIT in public...even alone on a park bench.

The Mayor has ordered all public seating (chairs, benches, etc...) be removed and stored. That means the city will have to pay a work crew to dig up / pick up all the benches and seats - no social distancing here. The city will have to find / rent storage locations for all of those confiscated seats and benches...not to mention the Marxist micro-managing nanny state forced compliance with an insane edict.
