Perhaps the Casino's of Vegas should shut off those fountains for awhile?


Seems strange in a dry desert environment to see such an extravagant waste of resources.

Like Californians watering their lawns. Very wasteful.

Las Vegas fountains are not the real issue. It’s farmers in Arizona and California irrigating deserts.

They build huge cities in the desert and wonder why they dont have enough water.

Most of the water is used to grow food in a desert, not water lawns or fill swimming pools.

Nassau County and many other areas are experiencing water shortages due to more than tripling in population.
Water plants have a huge footprint and cost millions to build.
One of the issues is that permits should not be given out to everyone who pays to build a mansion or mall.
