LA Sheriff's Dept Wants Kobe's Wife To Prove Her Grief By Taking Psych Exam

It's absolutely traumatic to know that shit went public regardless of your personal exposure to it. Her hurt and anger is 100% understandable.

Well for the Sheriff -- he knows there is a large segment of the population who are bootlickers and this will play well with them...

As you can see by the replies from the usual Conservative bootlickers on this messageboard

Yes, he is playing to a certain audience..........sadly so.

That is a sick request of a grieving widow
Prove you are really sad
But look at our nation in recent times. Books written endlessly shaming others. People they may have even worked with. There was a time they kept a lot of stuff quiet. But now making a buck has been cheapened to dull many known people who may have their own flaws but have not done nothing to hurt any others.

BULLSHIT!

Torturing a woman who lost her husband and daughter to prove her grief is sadistic

You want her to PROVE that posting pictures of their dead bodies did not contribute to her grief?

"Los Angeles County is demanding that a judge force Vanessa Bryant and others to undergo a psychiatric evaluation before a lawsuit they filed against county officials goes to trial. The lawsuit is over those alleged leaked images of the crash that were reportedly shared by emergency responders. Families of the crash victims filed the lawsuit in September 2020 and are requesting undisclosed damages. Among their claims are violations of their civil rights and privacy and emotional distress.

Attorneys for the county said compelling the plaintiffs to undergo a doctor's evaluation is necessary "to evaluate the existence, extent and nature of Plaintiffs' alleged emotional injuries." "Plaintiffs cannot be suffering distress from accident site photos that they have never seen and that were never publicly disseminated."

And the county has a point -- how can you as a family member claim you are suffering emotional grief from something if you never seen the photos?? If some of the first responders at the scene had the opportunity to make some quick cash by selling photos of the mangled bodies of your children; how does that cause any family member any distress or suffering? We already ask our first responders to do enough, why sue them for taking advantage of a crisis and getting some financial benefit from it?? LA County has already been forced to pay out over 70 million already to families for police brutality, unlawful detentions and other stuff -- cut them a break.
These people have money, enough to never want. Loosing a child has got to be the hardest thing in life.. First responders you would think do it wanting to show compassion but some it's all about money I think making profit off this is sick But don't sue the city. You sue the first responders of their profit.

Easier to assault the character of a grieving widow from a bully pulpit than it is to admit a mistake. Murrica.
