Kyrgyzstan: Manas is American drug storehouse

A truck loaded with drugs was detained in the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border in September, the 4th. During the interrogation the drug dealer confessed the parcel heroin was taken from an unknown person in Manas airport (US military base), Kyrgyzstan.
No doubt the traffic of the drugs is covered by Kyrgyz high officials oppositional to the current president, Almazbek Atambaev. Political experts unanimously say that the recent attempt to carry out a takeover in the republic is directly linked with the shutdown of the US military airbase in Manas. Obviously, the traffic of the drugs is so considerable income item for Kyrgyz oppositionists and their American managers that they have even tried to assault the Parliament building in Bishkek. Fortunately, the conspirators failed.

The drug trade is a "considerable" income item for many Americans as well. Do you know of a restaurant or other business somewhere that has been around for years, does not advertise, has little business activity, but continues to pay plenty of employees and keep a nice looking store front?

There's a really good chance that it launders money for the owners.

The drug trade distributes billions of dollars in "income" to various American citizens each and every year. That's big money, and it's tax free. It is why drugs remain illegal.
