keys to the kingdom

Because God isn't powerful enough to be born into this world and suffer death to reconcile justice with mercy?
Suffer death to reconcile justice with mercy? That makes no sense. God is so powerful he created the world the way it is and left instructions for earthlings about how to remain sane in jungle teeming with unclean creepy creatures like yourself, making it clear that God has no visible shape or material form and never was nor ever will be or become a human being.

"The kingdom of Heaven is like hidden treasure lying buried in a field. The man who found it, (Jesus) BURIED IT AGAIN."
You have a lot of holes in your story. The hidden meaning - that you claimed - Jesus was teaching was to rebel against Rome. You even went so far as to explain how they had to speak in code to keep the Romans from finding out. So why would Jesus bury it if his purpose was to incite a rebellion? And why did the rebellion never occur?

And here's Christ telling people not to chant:
Maybe the Pope never got the memo. Why not let him know. Billions of people need to know.

But I bet you did it anyway.... OWA TANA SIAM. Did you learn something about yourself?

You don't believe in anything beyond a material existence. So of course you can't understand anything a supernatural being does because you don't believe in anything supernatural.

It will make more sense to you when you meet him and you ask him why he didn't create a more fair world. Then he will show you His wounds and say, "I agree with you. I paid my debt for that on the cross and your debt too."

One could not go about and openly preach rebellion against the romans without dying a horrible death in short order but you could go around and openly preach abstinence from the flesh of swine or render unto Caesar the things of Caesar or any number of other things without them ever getting an inkling about what was actually being taught, at least until they couldn't ignore that something must be going on, but by then it was too late.
This is you literally arguing they were using scripture as a way of communicating so the Romans wouldn't discover their secret plot to rebel.

You even then went on to imply it was supposed to be successful when you said, "by then it would be too late."

How idiotic could you be to write such a thing. You know no rebellion ever took place. And now you are arguing that Jesus hid it from the people he was supposed to be secretly communicating it to. How dumb do you have to be to not see the gaping flaw in your idiotic belief?

I'm not even to the 4th page of this thread yet.

While I have never had an audience with the Pope, I have visited the issue here.
Praying in rote isn't just confined to the Catholics. Saying, "Now I lay me down to sleep..." is praying in rote. Saying the Lord's Prayer is praying in rote. When they asked Jesus how to pray, He gave them an example of how to pray, not a prayer. The example covers praise of God right off the bat. It includes repentance, intercession for others and asking for yourself.
P ~ Praise God
R ~ Repent
A ~ Ask, on behalf of others in need
Y ~ Your own personal needs and thanksgiving

He just wants you to talk to him from your heart. He's a heart Dr.

Matthew 6:7-8 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

mattew is a shill ( as the heathen do ) - what christian choir is not the masters of repetition ...

Repetition in Christian music serves as a tool for meditation, memorization, and emotional engagement, drawing from biblical traditions like the Psalms. While common in modern "7-11" songs (7 words, 11 times), repetition is used to reinforce key theological truths or create a "holding space" for worship. It is meant to aid focus, not to be vain babbling.
Amazing grace (how sweet the sound)
that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
was blind, but now I see.

amazing grace -from beginning to end ...

- what song is sung is for a shill's displeasure.

Will Matthew be equal to you in heaven? Don't be afraid to answer. It's ok.

The Jewish Rebellion of 70 AD, also known as the First Jewish Revolt, was a significant uprising against Roman rule in Judea.

Background

  • The revolt began in 66 AD due to escalating tensions between the Jewish population and Roman authorities, fueled by heavy taxation and religious oppression.
  • The Jewish resistance was marked by sporadic clashes, leading to a full-scale rebellion.
Siege of Jerusalem

  • In 70 AD, Roman forces, led by General Titus, besieged Jerusalem, which was the center of Jewish worship and culture.
  • The siege culminated in the destruction of the Second Temple, a pivotal event that ended centuries of Jewish sacrificial worship.
Consequences

  • The fall of Jerusalem marked a profound loss for the Jewish people, leading to a significant diaspora and changes in Jewish religious practices.
  • The revolt and its aftermath had lasting impacts on Jewish identity and the relationship between Jews and Romans.

You even then went on to imply it was supposed to be successful when you said, "by then it would be too late."
Exactly. The gospels were already being uploaded into the belly of the imperial scarlet beast.

You must've never read the Gospels, (either that or you are under the condemnation of God.) Thats like going to war against the mob, blind, armed to the teeth with a whoopee cushion.

"The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?”

He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken from them. This is why I speak to them in parables: Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:

“‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their minds and turn, and I would heal them." Matthew 13:10-15

Exactly.

He said go into a closet, shut the door, and your Father who sees whats done in secret will reward you openly. In other words he said to withdraw into your mind SHUT YOUR MOUTH and pray in silence. Not like the damn hypocrites who pray out loud to impress other people.

According to you they were supposed to have won and why was it four decades later?

The revolt began in 66 AD due to escalating tensions between the Jewish population and Roman authorities, fueled by heavy taxation and religious oppression. Nowhere does it say it began because of a hidden message in the gospels... that hadn't even been recorded in writing yet.

I have read the gospels. The gospels make a concerted effort to show the divinity and authority of Christ.

Your post is as nonsensical as the bogga wogga wogga magic death curse you put on me. You are picking unrelated verses and throwing them together and it is nonsensical.

Put down your Captain Crunch secret decoder ring and start using google.

15th post
And here's Christ telling people not to chant:
Damn. Thats sucks. Can I still listen to the Gregorian chants as long as I don't chant? I asked a consecrated matzo but got no answer. Oh no! Stuck in the valley of indecision. Woe is me!

lol

- written by the crucifiers in symmetry w/ the 4th century christian bible ...

the 1st century events, jesus the repudiation of judaism, false and repressive commandments et al is the catalyst enabling the fall of judaism 70ce due to its own demise from within as its failure to heed the heavenly prescription enumerated by jesus.

So many questions, so little time.

Good luck on your crusade to grasp the answers you have already been given many times.

I'll pray for you.

:eusa_pray:
And there is the famous twist and dodge when you are presented with questions you do not like to answer. You do it time and time again.

Its not that I can't answer the questions. I choose not to because no matter how many questions you ask you never acknowledge or take a stand on the truth. The penalty for the sin of idolatry is death, a curse you so perfectly display. Divine condemnation. This is the truth. You confirm it. It can't be undone. This autopsy is over. Off to the crematorium you go.

Its been fun! Thanks for the laughs.
Duck, dodge, swirl and spin.
