So, the Kentucky Derby has been postponed until September. But, they are having a virtual race on May 2nd which is a fundraiser. Derby At Home Party Central

Outside of the Mint Julep I am looking at the
Finlandia® Herbarium Pitcher

Ingredients

• 1 part Finlandia® Vodka
• 1 part Lime Juice
• 1/2 part Simple Syrup
• 3 parts Soda Water
• 1 pinch Salt
• Herbs (mint, basil, sage, rosemary, coriander)

Preparation

1. Fill a pitcher with ice
2. Add the ingredients to the pitcher and stir well
3. Garnish with additional herb

And playing horse racing video games. That first week of May is just one big party week. May Day, Kentucky Derby, Cinco de Mayo.

The Arkansas Derby will still be on TV next Saturday, so there will still be thoroughbreds racing on the tube. Maybe a good day to drink mint juleps with moonshine substituted for bourbon?

A mojito with vodka substituted. I'm guessing you don't put in ALL those herbs--just the ones you want? Basil might be good.

As for the Derby, I'm going to miss the HATS. I may have to start another Hat thread.
