The "Dance of the Lemons" documentary showed the system had 100s of teachers with discipline records that read like a criminal rap sheet.
The teachers union in Chicago is in complete control of the system.
One example was a female teacher that called in sick over 40 times, reports from students that she was hungover and fell asleep in class - in her record - dozens of times. Finally she literally passed out drunk in class.... and they only suspended her for 10 days. You can Google that if you like, it happened. And happens.
