While I like and agree with the sentiment. Take note. He said the Republican Party of Texas. The Republican Party of the US was in existence much earlier. Abraham Lincoln was a Republican and he was assassinated before 1867. Also Texas was part of the confederacy so it is unlikely that they had a republican party before 1867 in support of this video.
