Johns Hopkins University: “Surprisingly, the deaths of older people stayed the same before and after COVID-19..."

"COVID-19-related deaths" is a stat that is actually a political ploy as destructive to the US democracy as all the fake votes made by TDS, democrat operatives. Both are a total scam and should be tossed out as the garbage it is. Kung Flu positive, assuming the test is not a false positive, is also meaningless since they are generally asymptomatic. The democrat response to the Kung Flu scam shows how contemptuous they are of personal liberty.

All DEATHS are way up and these statistics are consistent with offcial Covid-19 death toll.

Thats kinda inconvienient to your thesis, right?

SHUT THE FUCK UP, THEY ARE LYING LIKE A RUG.

As can be seen April does stick out from last year - but then when you look closer - it's the damn New Yorkers! In addition, the 12 month numbers are as projected.

Moron, NYC has seen a total of 24,000 deaths and there are far more deaths in EACH of this year's months since the pandemic deaths began.

From your data 2019 month vs 2020 month:

March: +14,000
April: +85,000
May: +42,000
June: +20,000

So in just those 4 months there were 161,000 more people dead than in the same period during 2019.

And what fucking "12 month numbers"? You've posted just 4 months of covid data.

Something tells me total # of deaths in 2020 regardless of cause isn't going to spike.

There are no 300,000 excess deaths.

Did I say it was isolated to New York? Nope. They quadrupled their death rate. In other places save a few, it's within 20%, which is well within normal. Note that we expect deaths to go up every year due to aging population.

You have not answered the inquiry I put forward before.

Here is what Texas (not located in NY last I checked) excess deaths looks like:

If you can't see deaths shooting up as Covid-19 spreads in Texas then you probably need to go get your head checked.

After Covid-19? This must be an article from the furture or one of them rightwinger fantasies.

We are well over 300,000 deaths compared to same period last year. If it's not mostly older people then who the f is it?

For reasonable person the virus has been mostly a non issue since it was discovered that it's one hundredth as lethal as it was thought to be at the start by many. It's rapidly becoming a bad flu - and for most people not even that.

No black death...
The whole idea of flattening the curve wasn't to stop people from dying--a nice benefit if we could get it-- but to keep the hospitals and health care providers from being overwhelmed. We were warned on day one that flattening the curve would spread this out.

In some areas, hospitals are being overwhelmed again. It has never been about it's deadliness, it's about it's high contagion rate and no way to stop it from making some people--a lot of people-- really sick.

Texas, April (2019 vs 2020):
16K -> 18K, almost within 10 percent. Note that this is about the same as the difference between February - a pandemic free month.
New York, April:
12K -> 41K

Texas is well within the normal margins, while New York has something extraordinary going on. Indeed, you have not explained why New York failed beyond all comprehension, and why you as a New Yorker are now lecturing others after such huge failures. People should be working as hard as possible to not follow anything done in New York.

Covid saves lives. Deaths are down across the board to add to the scare factor.

Democrats count covid deaths like they count votes... fraudulently.

I'm not arguing we haven't got a lot of deaths. But that was not the initial reason for the lock down and it's not the driving force behind continued control methods. Those arguing about the deadliness of the disease are missing the point. The message became hysterical-ized. "Have Thanksgiving, you're all gonna DIE" is also missing the point. It's still about flattening the curve. I'm behind it.

This is the Big Lie that many of us have said was going on: CCP-Flu death count has been grossly inflated to justify imposing Authoritarian rule.

Once the healthcare system is overwhelmed death rates shoot way up. See Italy.

I'm not saying you did. I'm just saying flattening the curve saves lives by not overwhelming the healthcare system.

Also if you have a vaccine incoming the flattening will stall some people getting sick long enough to never get sick.

This is the Big Lie that many of us have said was going on: CCP-Flu death count has been grossly inflated to justify imposing Authoritarian rule.

Fuck them. I will Not Obey their boot on the neck rules.

How do you inflate total death count in United States?

Do you have some alternate explanation why ~300,000 more people are dead since March compared to the same period years before?

Do you have some alternate explanation why total death counts consistentyl increase everywhere there is a Covid-19 outbreak?

You say that without having any knowledge of the capacity - or virus cases - almost anywhere in the country.

You can do what you want, let other people also do what they want, depending on their values, and severity of the situation.

We are never going to cancel Christmas because few extra deaths - you can count on that. Especially after you and your advice completely fell on its face killing more people than anywhere in the country. New York should STFU and GTFO and stop telling others how to live. In fact, New York is the biggest covid disaster on the whole planet, yet you still feel like lecturing.
