Johns Hopkins Study. U.S Best Prepared Country in the World for Covid-19

Well, I wonder how the Dims will try to spin this.

Interesting that Dims Lies have also been debunked in the same story.

Separately, the Biden team has repeatedly argued that the president once referred to coronavirus as a "hoax." That claim has been refuted by numerous fact-checkers, including the Post's, which found that Trump was clearly referring to Democrats' efforts to blame him for the pandemic, not the virus itself.

Additionally, numerous Democrats, including Biden, have falsely claimed that the president cut the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) budget. The Associated Press has noted that those claims "distort" the facts.

Trump’s budgets have proposed cuts to public health, only to be overruled by Congress, where there’s strong bipartisan support for agencies such as the CDC and NIH. Instead, financing has increased. Indeed, the money that government disease detectives first tapped to fight the latest outbreak was a congressional fund created for health emergencies.

The report was made in Oct 2019 and so Tramp sure did screw up.

3. RAPID RESPONSE TO AND MITIGATION OF THE SPREAD OF AN EPIDEMIC

Thanks for the report but it really shows how tramp screwed up. So the UK really screwed up, and Brazil really has screwed up.

Trump supporters, this study does not say what you think it says.

This is based on the Global Health Security Index. You can read about it here:

The methodology shows that it ranks countries in six different categories:
  • Prevention: Prevention of the emergence or release of pathogens
  • Detection and Reporting: Early detection and reporting for epidemics of potential international concern
  • Rapid Response: Rapid response to and mitigation of the spread of an epidemic
  • Health System: Sufficient and robust health system to treat the sick and protect health workers
  • Compliance with International Norms: Commitments to improving national capacity, financing plans to address gaps, and adhering to global norms
  • Risk Environment: Overall risk environment and country vulnerability to biological threats

Based on those categories, we were in good shape to handle this thing.

Well, it has been over 2 months since that study was conducted, and we're now leading in both cases and deaths. We had everything in place to be successful, and we haven't been successful. What does that tell you?

It just shows how terribly Trump fucked this up. Even with everything in our favor, we STILL fucked it up under his "leadership".
