I’m not a communist but unlike I’m intelligent enough to recognize someone like Lennon, who was a political genius. You might research his anti war and anti state positions, before making the typical statist conclusion he was a commie and for that reason alone unworthy. A conclusion given to you by the state Lennon despised.
Lennon doesn't interest me enough to apply that much thinking into him.
What I know - he was the wealthiest entertainer in the world when he died.
He was an elitist. "For thee not for me". I don't put much credence in the political opinions of someone who is sooo far and away from his supposed beliefs. If not the exact opposite of his "beliefs"

I have no idea.
All I am saying, of the Beatles 4 (really 5) I liked Harrison's stuff after they broke up the best.
McCartney's the least. The Wings... super bad. Even Ringo had better songs.
Lennon I couldn't stomach. I don't have much room for elitist. "Let them eat cake".
Lennon was almost a $Billionaire. Far richer than Paul. But loved him some communism.
Nothing more ironic than a $800 millionaire claiming he wants socialism.

Yeah, no one could stand Wings.

All vocal Communists are stupid rich. Marxism is just feudalism rebranded to appeal to the stupid. Lennon enjoyed ruling over the little people so gravitated to a system where he would be a literal king - Marxism.

Not at all. Beethoven was the first Rock Star.

Ludwig lived in hotels, tore out the walls, he had accountants to pay for it all...
So a comparison to Joe Walsh would have been better

In 300 years, people will still know the Beatles. Walsh, unfortunately will have long ago faded into memory.
I wouldn't be so sure about that.

And JW has already faded into obscurity but you did use his lyrics.

Okay... you are not normally this hard headed...so you are a fan of Lennon and are in denial.
He..himself...his own words... several times.. stated although he doesn't belong to any Communist organization, his political beliefs parallel communism/socialism.
Not my words.

Apparently you can’t comprehend my prior post. Let me try again.

I don’t give a fuck if he claimed to be a commie. I know that blows the minds of most cons, who have been conditioned to hate all commies no matter what.

No.
Communism is an ideal form of organization for small communities. Like... 20 or 30 families that desire to live in a communal setting.
It can and does work well because the community is small enough corruption is held in check.
The problem is when communism is applied in a large scale.
It has never, or will ever work for a large society. Period. We literally have 1000s of years of history to show this.
For one simple, immutable fact.... Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
There will never by any angels to organize society for us. You can't place so much power in the hands of so few without crushing corruption and widespread, grinding poverty. Every single example of communism on a large scale has resulted in Enormously wealthy elitist and dirt poor masses. No exceptions.
