Boehner wanted to be rid of the bastards in the Republican party and the only way was to resign. Understandable.
Just wait you'll see Rush Limbaugh, and all the other Reich wing talk show hosts BLAME Paul Ryan for this flop turd--LOL You'll have Reich wingers all over this board threatening to primary Paul Ryan--LOL They won't blame themselves or the NO Republican politicians that they have installed in congress--most of whom Rush Limbaugh and all the others strongly supported.
That's what makes this so hysterically funny.
The failure falls squarely on President Trump, or another way to say it is the Buck Stops with Him.
It is true the GOP had all the time in the world to have something ready and they blew it like many knew they would.
The reality they will never get anything done on Healthcare Reform unless Ryan commit political suicide and work with Pelosi and company to get something done, which will never happen.
So in the end President Trump was shown he can not even lead his own political party to vote on a bill he endorsed, and with that the failure is his and no one else.
Next is Tax Reform and Budget and those are other subject matters that will show once again he ( Trump ) has no clue on how to seal the political deal within his own political party.
