Just in time for Christmas shopping, too. I bet they don't even require a background check. :laughing0301:

"Some soldiers and police sold their weapons and ammunition before they negotiated their surrenders. Weapons dealers would pay about $1,200 for a single U.S.-service Beretta M9 handgun, the gun merchants said far more than a soldier's monthly salary, at a time when many police and soldiers were not being paid or resupplied with ammunition, food or water.

American M4 carbines sell for about $4,000, the dealers said, especially if equipped with a laser sight or under-barrel grenade launcher. In contrast, a Kalashnikov rifle sells for about $900, the dealers said, and a Russian-made rocket-propelled grenade launcher for about $1,100. Pistols that NATO forces supplied to Afghan police officers sell for about $350. Almost all their transactions are in Pakistani rupees, and in cash, the dealers said..."

Kinda surprised they're selling them. First thing they did was confiscate weapons when they took over. I guess it makes no difference though, if you have an M4 and no 5.56 ammo it's a club.

It would have been so much better if we had left on Trumps modified schedule of Jan 15. 2021.

We've had 4 Presidents supplying the Afghan army, why is it Joe's responsibility? Were the Afghans part of Trump's deal with the Taliban? Did he bring anything or anyone home?

Yeah, too bad, always got to blame a Republican for the failures of you Democrats....Cant wait till some of those weapons show up in your neighborhood and be used against you, by some Afghanistan Refugees...I wont shed a tear.

Blame him? You poor thing. Thank god the generals were able to convince the Trumpybear to leave about 2500 of the 8600 troops that his surrender plan called for, or none of our Afghan partners would have been able to escape.

What a fine example of the attitude towards fellow Americans the Neo-GOP has cultured in it's flock.

I can't read your link because it's from the New York Slimes.
May the editors all die of the CLAP.

Sleepy Joe shouldn’t have left them there. Why weren’t ALL American citizens, those with Green Cards and Afghans that helped us brought here?

You may have known that Afghanistan would fall as quickly as it did but the CIA and State Dep't weren't as well informed as you. Apparently ALL American citizens, those with Green Cards and Afghans that helped us weren't either. If only you had told them...

Your “ answer” has nothing to do with the fact that Americans and those who helped should have been out before our Military left

Trump was there for 4 years, Biden was there for 7 months. How many civilians and how much Afghan equipment was taken out under Trump?
