If you paid attention to the talk shows, the progressives know they're not going to get the 3.2 Trillion. And they're going to have to give on some of their wants. However, Manchin is going to have to move off his number and come up as well. My guess, the whole thing will float just north of 2 trillion. Now, Manchin fell back and made another demand this weekend (the inclusion of the Hyde Amendment) so we'll see where that goes. And Sinema got a lesson in what might be coming down the road for her should she remain a roadblock.

Bottom line is, the deal will get done.

Everything the government does has repercussions with its spouting of grandness. The Patriot Act has it. New programs never end. And they grow bigger and bigger. So with the Patriot Act the citizens are the evil. With Covid, the citizens are the evil while the illegals are the innocent. Get it yet!

And what a lot of news sources don't tell you is that is is over 10 years. It's not 3.5 in one year, it's over 10 years time.

Republicans have already said they'll vote for the 1 trillion dollar bill.

If democrats have any sense at all they'll take the 1 trillion dollar bill, run and forget about the 3.5 trillion dollar bill.

There no way with the narrow margins in the house and senate you can force such a bill through. Democrats are bound to lose the house and senate in 2022.
