In 1950, the southern redneck inbred hicks said "segregation now, segregation forever." They used segregation to oppress the African American communities, until a motivated grassroots movement took them down.

Today, the NRA says "guns today, guns forever." They are upfront about having their guns to shoot perceived criminals, AKA gentlemen of color. And lets not forget that the second amendment was put into the Constitution in order to put down slave revolts.

The war on the NRA today is like the battle with Jim Crow in the 1960's. Victory is our only option, and would spell a major advance in racial equality in America.

That's just a bold faced lie.

What part?

The south supported Jim crow? check!

The south got its ass wiped by progress? Check!!!:)

Many Americans own guns for self defence against scary uppity negroes: check

The second amendment was written by a slaveholder: James Madison, with fellow slaveholders in mind: check.

One qui9ck correction, the 2nd amendment was not about repressing slave revolts. It was about providing means of common defense as a standing Army is not in the constitution unless that Army is funded on a two year basis. In other words, the 2nd amendment was a defense against the military-industrial complex.

The gun control movement is far more like Jim Crow than the NRA. After all most of the places with the most gun restrictions have high minority populations. Its almost as if you don't want them to be able to defend themselves....

Slave revolts were one of the major reasons the second amendment was ratified. And its funny how second amendment supporters all seem to love the military industrial complex as well.

You mean manhattan has a high minority population. You mean Hawaii has a high minority population?

Tell me why the places with the most gun restrictions, such as California and New York, have far less gun violence than places like Vermont and Wyoming

Show me the numbers to back up your statement first.

Most of the states with A's from the Brady foundation also have extremely low gun crime
