For getting in the presidential picture spotlight this soon. They will get raped by the media and most will have to bow out. When this happens watch John Kasich then decide to enter. He is the only one playing it smart and he is by far the best candidate for the GOP. He's already beaten Hilary before.

Kasich is afraid of the unions. He'll be a viable candidate as soon as he grows some balls (like Walker).

He has greater balls than walker and is the first potential candidate that said we need boots on the ground to defeat ISIS. Walker is too chicken shit and too inexperienced to say something like that.

The liberal media will jump into action and do what they do best. They'll choose the weakest candidate and go easy on him or her while mercilessly bashing the candidates that scare Dems the most. Once they manage to knock the best ones out of the race, they'll proceed with humiliating the weakest candidate after the primaries.

They had to get rid of Herman Cain quickly last time because with him it would have been impossible to play the race card. The charges proved to be bullshit later, but the accusations did the trick. Ben Carson will continue to be viciously attacked because he is a minority.

The left has decided that it's time for a woman to win and will portray Hillary as the only choice. The left chooses by race and/or gender first, then hope that someone will fit the quota.

How nice it would be to just choose the best candidate, but it doesn't work that way anymore.

The media will follow the same exact script and they have become so predictable.

If any decide not to run or are otherwise compelled to drop out, it will be the consequence of their own faults and failings, having nothing to do with 'the media.'

Are you sure it's not going to be the fault of someone else? The invisible liberal media and nonexistent often look very much alike. :D

That's what I said. they are choosing to be subject to the media way too early. That's a mistake Kasich made in 2001 that he isn't making now. It's a strategic mistake.

Ah, chickenhawks.

It's like back to the future all over again.

Actually, you have to start your campaign this early.

As Fred Thompson and Rick Perry proved, you jump in late, everyone has already committed to other candidates.

So, who is your favorite of the Republicans?

John Kasich by far and no one else. The other don't even come close. Not even rubio or Jeb.

Okay, this has to be the most idiotic thing I've read today.

Herman Cain was a joke. The fact of 2012 was that the least crazy candidate the GOP had thought he was wearing magic underwear.

Herman Cain and Ben Carson are hucksters who get up there and tell audiences of white people how shiftless their fellow blacks are. And people like you lap it up and they laugh all the way to the bank.

Here's the real problem. My first election was 1980, when I first voted Republican- we had a WEALTH of serious candidates. Reagan, Bush the Elder, John Connolly, Bob Dole, Howard Baker. A dream team of guys who were serious contenders for a serious job.

2012- You had the guy who thought he was wearing magic underpants, the guy who couldn't remember which three departments he'd disband, the guy who screamed "NEIN NEIN NEIN!" the guy who wanted to build a moon-base and the guy whose name has become synonymous with anal discharge.

What is about his views?

actually, i would say this is probably the strongest field of candidates the Republicans have put out since 1988.

If the GOP was smart, they'd run Scott Walker.

But they'll probably end up running Bush instead, and then people will remember, "Oh, yeah, the Family that brought us three wars and three recessions."

Hellllllooooo President Hillary.

Meh, not really. History is going to be very kind to Obama.
LOL ya might go that way.

Well, let's look at that.

1) ObamaCare- Has lots of flaws, but it's the kind of universal coverage the progressives have been arguing for since Teddy Roosevelt.

2) Ended the Iraq War. Sorry, the ISIL thing is going to be a footnote.

3) Brought us out of the Great Recession.

4) Yes, first black guy elected. Sorry, history is going to be very kind to him on that alone, given our racial history.
