I didn't think they'd be able to top the first one, but they did. This one topped the first on grossness, dangerousness, and hilariousness. There was one particular bit that nearly made me throw up, and I have a very strong stomach. But, other than that, it was pretty much great.

Just when you thought you couldn't take anymore.

My idea of the perfect date - going to the golf couse and hiding in the bushes with an air horn.

I can't get into Jackass. I just find it way too stupid, kinda like I did with Napoleon Dynamite.

It's supposed to be stupid. You're thinking way to hard about it.;)

i thought the terrorist stunt was the BEST one...
the 'devil' popping out of the ground in California was next in line.

what was your favorite?

Probably the terrorist one, though I did feel bad for Ehren when they were telling the driver that it was okay to hit him really hard.

Other than that, the puppet show with the snake was funny but discomforting, The Switcheroo with Bam's parents was good, the love letter/boxing glove bit was great, and although it was a little, stupid thing during the credits, I really liked when Bam was bitching about everyone picking on him and he fell through that hole in the ground.

That said, the fish hook and the horse situation were two things I could go the rest of my life without seeing again. I almost threw up at the horse thing.

Some guy passed out in the theater I was in. Everyone was laughing at him, even his buddies. Now THAT'S what a Jackass moviegoing experience is all about!

the gunshot sound effects were a great addition to the terrorist one.

yeah, the fish-hook one was one that I had to actually cover my eyes on just because of the pain i could sense.

the horse one...that one was not that nasty (i have witnessed this type of thing before when i worked at a local stable) until Pontius drank some of it-that was a little sick...but they had to do something extreme for the camera - i guess.

Yeah, it didn't get me until he drank it. I thought it was funny that out of all the stuff in that movie, that was the one thing they had to edit. They really raised the nudity bar from the last one, didn't they? At least now I can say I've seen full frontal midget nudity, I guess.

oh, come on, we all know you're into midget porn! :p:

The I guess I didn't notice the nudity as much, but when we got home, we watched the first movie on dvd, and i then noticed the guys were a lot less 'shy' about their junk.

we were probably older than the rest of the whole theater (seemed to be filled with HS kids) and so when the stallion came on screen, you could hear the kids commenting on the size, so to speak.

I didn't know Bam was afraid of snakes-so what they did to him I thought was funny, but also kind of mean.

Ya know on the first movie's dvd, they have the deleted scene of the guy who hates mustard? That guy could have been my husband because they both share the same loathing for the condiment. I sometimes tease him with it, but I don't think I would have gone that far, which would just be cruel.

I can only assume that they knew they wouldn't get an R rating with all that nudity back then, maybe? They made efforts to hide the nudity in the first one, whereas in the second one, they went out of their way to get some major nut shots and stuff.

Where do you live? I can see where someone would be surprised by the size if they've never seen a live horse before.

But, yeah, most of my crowd looked like high-school aged kids, too, which is fine, this is the one movie that I didn't really mind a lot of people talking in the theater.

On the other hand, after the movie there were some kids dicking around in the parking lot, Jackass-style, and all I could think was "oh, THIS is why these guys have so much trouble making TV shows and movies, because of dumbasses like this!"

I'm not sure if that part's staged or not, and I'm sure Bam didn't really care, but I'd be furious if someone kicked a dent in my car because I put mustard on them.

Have you seen any of the CKY videos? They're basically the inspiration for Jackass, only it's just Bam and his crew (Rake, Dunn, Dico, Rabb, etc.), and there is a lot more focus on skateboarding. In fact, the first video is basically a skateboarding video with some pranks thrown in. The later ones are really good, though, especially CKY4. Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of Jackass.

BTW, I recently rewatched the first one, too, and I'm pretty sure my favorite bit is probably either the Rent-a-Car Smash-Up or the Fireworks Wake-Up. But, my absolute favorite line, as dumb as it is, is when Steve-O's putting all those shrimp in his underwear and he points at his wiener and says "look at that shrimp!" Don't ask me why, but it gets me every time. It's making me giggle at this very moment, actually.

For some reason my favorite scenes in the first one is Party Boy in Japan when he first rips off his warm ups and starts dancing in that electronics store. The face on the japs is hillarious.

My other favorite is Wee man as a giant cone. Then the golf air horn. And the golf cart derby where JK almost killed himself.

Where do you live? I can see where someone would be surprised by the size if they've never seen a live horse before...

i live about 22 miles NW of Minneapolis in a town called Anoka (Halloween Capitol of the World, Garrison Keillor was born/raised here -not that anyone here wants to admit to it- and we have claim to Miss America 1989 Gretchen Carlson who is now working as a Fox News correspondent)

Go about 5-10 miles either west or north and you will run into many homes that have horses, but most of them don't have stallions. I just don't think many of the kids, while they have seen horses close up, it is not common to see a stallion cover a mare, or even being "teased", and they are more likely to have seen geldings, instead of stallions.

On the other hand, after the movie there were some kids dicking around in the parking lot, Jackass-style, and all I could think was "oh, THIS is why these guys have so much trouble making TV shows and movies, because of dumbasses like this!"

that's when I say 'natural selection' will thin the herd. If they are that stupid, then they are not worthy of passing on their genes...

I think Bam's reaction to the snake was real, because he was crying. Guys like that wouldn't cry unless they are really feeling it.

The mustard thing was psycho-I think he totally over-reacted, but some people have that psychotic-f*ing hatreds of certain things. Kind of like liberals and President Bush.

I have seen some of the CKY videos, but I am not as much into them because the skateboarding gets old after a while. Viva La Bam is pretty good though. But I prefer all the guys together because I think they all make it that much funnier.

Oh, and the first movie-AirHorn Golf was THE best one. There used to be a golf course that was right next to an intersection of two major freeways near here, and people who knew that would drive by and honk randomly. Now the course is no longer there-Medtronic bought the land for their new corporate offices and a new lab.
