trump opened a real Pandora's box because there was one little tidbit none of us had heard about and which he would have given a lot to keep buried - his pee party. I have read that all of this was because he didn't want that to get out.

Another factor that I think is pivotal is that trump has never had to answer for his wrongdoing - legal and not. And he has said the law does not apply to him. Since becoming prez, he has said he is immune, like some sort of diplomatic immunity.

None of them have ever been up against the US government though.
