According to a Thursday report in Al-Monitor, Biden State Department wonk Ned Price claimed at a press conference: ā€œIt is a historical fact that Israel occupied the West Bank, Gaza and the Golan Heights after the 1967 war.ā€ Price thus signaled once again that Bidenā€™s handlers plan to take up the Obama administrationā€™s betrayal of Israel and support for the Palestinian jihad in a big way. But the central claim is wrong: contrary to the propaganda that inundates the world every day, Israel did not occupy ā€œPalestinian Territoriesā€ in 1967 or at any other time.

Price and his colleagues in the Biden State Department donā€™t know, or donā€™t want you to know, that the ā€œWest Bankā€ (that is, Judea and Samaria) and Gaza were part of the original post-World War I Mandate for Palestine, set aside for a Jewish national home. Not only that, but between 1949 and 1967, when they were under Jordanian and Egyptian rule, nothing was ever said about how they were occupied ā€œPalestinianā€ territory; in fact, there was no mention made of the ā€œPalestiniansā€ at all, as they were not invented until the 1960s, as a rhetorical stick to beat Israel with.
After the 1967 war, Israel was occupying land to which only Israel, among all the countries of the world, had any legal claim

Actually thatā€™s a lie, Sergei. The report that came out of the Biden admin confirmed that Jerusalem is Israelā€™s capital, confirmed Israelā€™s sovereignty over the West Bank and said the issue of the pals was between the parties to resolve.

anothing else you want to lie about for vlad?

Israel attacked Egypt in 1967. Read Moishe Dayan. Most Egyptian troops were deployed in Yemen.

There were thousands of Palestinians working in Arabia in the early 1950s. Many went to my church.

After the Arabs closed the Straits of Tiran to jews. Israel made it clear that if they did that, they would view it as an act of war....the Arabs did it.

Yes, I know it bothers you that Israel won't let Arabs, or anyone attack Jews

No Israeli ships had passed through the Straits of Tiran for 14 months before Nasser closed it. Egypt put up with a lot of crap from Israel... Including the Lavon Affair and the Suez Crisis.

Oh cut the crap

The Israelis weren't using it. The week before the Jews attacked Egypt Nasser asked for a summit to resolve the situation. Read Moishe Dayan.
yeah because the Arabs shut it off to them

Not for 14 months. Read Moishe Dayan. The Israelis just wanted more land and water. That's why they tried so hard to provoke a war with Lebanon and Syria.

they wanted their ships to be able to flow through the strait. The Arab shut it down to them them lined their border with their military.

Every country in the world (including the U.S.) occupies territory they won in battle whether it's two or three hundred years ago or the relatively recent bloody 20th century. No need to apologize or justify it. It's a done deal.

No they didn't. The Israelis were not using the Straits. Egypt's military was deployed in Yemen from 1962- 1970.
