I grew up in a small suburb that was more "rural" than urban, if you know what I mean, and I knew a lot of very honest hard working but dumb as a rock American citizens that I think of as Agro-Americans. Prior to moving to Montgomery County Maryland I had never met a Jewish person to my knowledge in my life. My wife's Dad is half Jewish genetically by his Dad, so he is not part of the Jewish community and was raised Catholic. I hate saying that, as it feels almost like I am wishing it to happen, but I am not.
