Is Trump really a successful businessman

If that's what he has in fact done. I don't know for sure.

So I think the question posed by the OP is legitimate.
Ok. What business of his has succeeded? None as the OP suggests? One, two? Does the OP or yourself know?

Wouldn't it make sense to find out BEFORE making the statement? Does it matter if his successes outweigh his failures?

Let me be clear on my point... Hate, bigotry, racism and the like makes people stupid.

Working backwards from a conclusion rather than evidence to support one is undermining the argument. It actually HURTS the stance that Trump is a bad business man.

It might be a legitimate question, but neither the OP or yourself has actually addressed if he is one or not. You've just used "orange man bad"

He took millions and made them into billions. But he's a bad business man. How do you reconcile that?

While the OP may or may not be able to create a decent argument on the topic, I KNOW you are capable of it should the evidence be there. That's how you help the OP. Not by agreeing Orange Man Bad, but by actually do the work he can't or won't to support the stance.

If you want to help get Trump out of office you either show evidence to support that he's a bad business man, or you shut the topic down so we don't talk about it. Because this conversation sure as hell ain't hurting Trump at all.
Not being fond of this man doesn't mean that the best I can do is say "Orange Man Bad" or that I have TDS.

I have long since given up trying to discuss him with Trumpsters, because I'm tired of asymmetrical conversations.

You just cannot hold up your end of the debate. That is YOUR problem.

Another pointless stupid Communist Democratic thread

Trump lived by the credo that all attention, whether fawning or critical, accrues to his benefit, that his personal image defines his brand, that he IS his brand.

but Trump is far more complex than his simple language suggests, his motivation is informed by his experience with his parents and the highs and lows of his business career, and his lifelong quest to be loved.

"in real life, wealth isolates you from other people. it's a protective mechanism. you have your guard up, much more than if you didn't have wealth" - Trump

that's why Citizen Kane is his favorite movie, folks!

His supporters keep claiming he's really good at business but is he really. Everything he's tried has gone belly up. Casinos, Trump University, Trump wines, Trump meats, Trump tailored vitamins, football team and even a Trump Airline it seems..The Crash of Trump Air
Right. That's how you end up with billions of dollars worth of top quality real estate all over the world.
With his name That's all

Seven bankruptcies. One hell of a business man.
And still worth a couple billion. Don't take my word for it though, look it up.
Actually rumor has it the leaked numbers from deutchbank (sp?) Put him in at about 750 million. Not a billionaire at all.

if you lose money running a casino, man, you suck at business!
Prog laws set up the Gambling and Casino rules in A.C. Just like Prog rules set up the Off Track Betting rules in New York. Corrupted politicians, corrupted unions, greedy citizens, mobster involvement and so much more. They thought they were going to be Vegas. They were forced to build huge edifices and marketed themselves as that and in reality a lot more smaller casinos is what that city was primed for. Did I say corrupted Prog politicians?

Ok... 750 million... Is that what bad business men make these days?

Edit: Good lord... Dance monkeys dance.
